Indonesian Fashion Spot!

Inspired by insidemybag.com, a website created by bryanboy.com. Surprisingly my bag doesn’t have that many craps inside.

The bag: Denim coach flap bag.
I got this bag years ago at filene’s basement, Chicago. My very first handbag splurge (hey a discounted coach bag was and still is a splurge for me..:p). I only tote this bag around during summer time as I usually wear jeans throughout the winter. In summer I wear gauchos, cropped pants and skirts. You see, I have a rule that you can only wear one denim item on your outfit, more than one is just too much..heheh although I have to admit I wore denim on denim once..they even were in different shades..:0)

The contents:

• Red KateSpade ‘katherine elyce’ small organizer. I have always carried an organizer with me since I was in junior high school. I love this one but the leather is shiny and scratches easily.

• Kate Spade ‘punched noel’ long wallet. Yea you can tell I love Kate Spade small leather goods. Anyway, I never switched wallet, I usually have only one wallet that I will use until it gets too worn out before I look for a new one. I just don’t see the need for having multiple wallets, imagine the hassle of moving the stuff from one to the other. Especially that I have lots of stuff in mine like receipts, cards (not credit cards, I left mine and home and haven’t used them for the last 12 months. Credit cards are evil!!!) from bubble tea..you know the punched card when you get 1 free drink for every 10 drinks you buy, hehe..ada dari cafe cartel juga, insurance card, driver license, state id, debit cards and all kind of cards you can imagine.

• Saks fifth avenue make up pouch. Inside are Stila lipstick, Laura Mercier lip gloss, Victoria Secret lipstick, MarcJacobs splash samples, MAC pressed powder and a purell hand sanitizer

• Glossy New York map

• Baby J immunization card, baru dari dokter soalnya hari kamis kemaren.

• Luella Bartley key chain and coin purse

• Tarte cheek stain

• Nokia cell phone
• Ricolas

• Paulo Coelho, the zahir, I have started reading this book since more than a month ago but I’m still nowhere near the end

I’m so tempted to buy this kenneth cole leather satchel that is already 40% off the retail price. The style is classic, I like the color and the gold hardwares make it stands out without looking too tacky, it’s big enough (15″x9.5″) for me…erghh…..should I should I??

Gucci is having its annual sale for seasonal bags and shoes. most of them are 30% to 40% off. Available at the store and gucci.com. ergh…why are these bags staring at me like that???…

that’s why i love used bookstore, i bought mine at ebay and amazon too.

2. DVDs, CDs and videos
i don’t buy cds (i burn them..:p), don’t even have a video player, don’t buy dvd either, unless it’s for baby j or from a tv series but other than that i rent the dvd from mc donalds ($1 per day, what a deal!!)

3. Little kids’ toys
garage sale here i come!!! as long as the toys are washable dan bukan seperti boneka yang berbulu bulu.

4. Jewelry
just don’t buy used earrings, that’s a big no!!

5. Sports Equipment

6. Timeshares
Err, maybe i’ll worry about this kind of purchase in the future…

7. Cars
totally agree with this one. but my last one was totally justified..=)

8. Software and console games
i buy them at ambassador mall….heheh..

9. Office Furniture
not just office but home furniture too, i found lots of great deals at craigslist.com

10. Hand tools
i’ll let the guys worry about this..:-)

i tried these on my last sephora visit and i absolutely love them. i haven’t got one yet as i’m still deciding between the rain and the cotton and still smelling the samples the SA had given me. but i will definetely pick either one before my trip this month. yea, i always associate certain moments with smell. that’s why i always pick up a new scent for a trip or special moment, at first i did it unconsciously but just recently i realized this weird habit of mine.. and i intend to keep it that way just so when i feel like slipping into certain moment of my life, i could just smell the scent and closed my eyes and imagining the good old days..=)

anyway, the scents are very summery, very cool and refreshing. the bottle is very minimalist, i like it. marc jacobs tried to capture his favorite summer memories into these bottles. There are three different scents; rain, cotton and grass. they are $65 and come in 10oz bottle and come with the sprayer. and it’s a limited edition and backorder everywhere..so i guess i better be hurry

finally LV launched the damier speedy a few days ago, on may 31st to be exact. they have it in 25 and 30. For those who like the speedy but don’t like the monogram, this solves the problem..=)

and if you want it, you better buy it now before the 7% price increase will be in effect some times this month!.
