Stopped by the Mango store at Pacific Place today and found this baby. It reminds me of Chanel classic tweed jacket but definitely lighter. Lighter on the material which means lighter on the weight (easier to wear on this burning hot weather) and definitely lighter on the price..:D.

I like denim. I like cropped jacket. I like dress (especially when it comes in vertical stripes skirt that can camouflage my hips and can be worn as skirt). So imagine my excitement when I found one look that has it all FOR ONLY Rp 79,000 at Tutu Shop? And in case you’re wondering, yes [...]

Finding the perfect swimsuit is hard, especially for a curvy girl like myself. I’ve written a post about tankini a while back but I have to admit that there aren’t many choices available for tankinis here that give both adequate coverage and style. So my search isn’t completely over. About a week ago, a package arrived [...]

A neutral color skirt will forever be a classic. The color is office appropriate and with the right blouse and accessory, can look glam and party material. The thing is, most of them don’t have that special touch that make them stand out on its own. This petal skirt from HillieDaily is an exception. It has [...]

So Christmas is coming sooner than I thought. I have been sooo busy lately, I don’t even realize when it’s approaching. With all the hustle and bustle in the office, it’s almost impossible for me to do Chrismast shopping. But thanks to the internet, everything is much easier now. All I have to do was [...]

Outlet shopping is a phenomenon that started around the early ’90s, when the economic boom resulted in quick turnaround of fashion items, necessitating an outlet for clearing out inventories. In time, Indonesian outlets added clothing samples, overstocks and items that didn’t meet the exacting quality of export markets, and voila, outlet shopping, Indonesian-style. Bandung has [...]

I don’t even know if there’s already a name for these kind of pants, because this is the first time they appear before my eyes. Poppy Dharsono brought them into existence in her Recapturing Banyumas collection. They are not Jodphur nor Harem slash Aladdin pants. But whatever they are, they drape beautifully on the long [...]

I can’t count the times I find myself standing in front of my closet, frustratedly thinking that I do not have the right dress to wear for an upcoming important event, whether it’s a wedding, a formal dinner, or such. Perhaps, Rent the Runway might be the answer to the dilemma. Luxury-goods renting service is not [...]

When you are in restaurants or shopping centers, have you ever paid attention to waitress, waiter, shop attendant, cleaning service lady or technician? Not only paying attention about how they serve us, but also their clothes and accessories; the whole appearance. Inspired by people in these professions, Julius Bramanto, a talented Indonesian photographer, is presenting his [...]

Carine Roitfeld, the Editor-in-Chief of French Vogue has been sporting a new look lately. She was photographed in and out of Fashion Week wearing outfits in neutral tones, totally different than her usual black-on-black ensembles, which I think is refreshing. Safari-inspired outfit is one of my (many) weaknesses, I just adore the color palettes (taupe, green, [...]
