Rumour has it that Sephora and Pantone, as you’ve probably read it here, are collaborating to produce something exciting! When you talk about colours, who would be better than Pantone, renowned authority in colours, that you can turn to? Each season, Pantone would come up with colour forecasting chart that will lead the way for where the colours are heading in terms of fashion and beauty.

A Pantone-branded makeup line is something that we’re looking forward to. We could see the collaboration as soon as March 2012, just in time to bring in some new colours and investing to what’s actually in season. Expect something that is in line with the Pantone seasonal colour guide from the collaboration, thus making us to not worry whether we’re buying the correct colour for the season. WWD reported that we can expect a majority of tangerine and orange in the first collection from the collaboration. Which is no surprise at all because as Leija has written here that tangerine is going to be the ‘it’ colour for next year.. The price? $18 to $80.

Is this a one off collaboration? Well let’s hope not and wish that this first collaboration would be a huge success so that we can see many of them in the future. Who better than Pantone could give you the exact favourite colour that you want, right?
