Imagine if you’re a princess, a queen-to-be, a duchess, or any kind of European royalty, what would you be wearing?

If it were me, I’d probably run to the nearest Hermes. But not Catherine ‘Kate’ Middleton.

Nearing the end of 2011, we believe the Duchess of Cambridge is one of the best-dressed people of the year. And if you have been tracking her style, you probably have noticed that Kate is a fan of affordable brands, such as Zara, Topshop, Reiss and Warehouse, and she has been photographed in many high-profiled occasions sporting those high-street brands.

Again, in Zara

Does it matter? Probably not, especially with her amazing figure, self-confidence, and her knack for mixing-and-matching her high-streets with higher end pieces (such as the Ralph Lauren jacket she wore with a Zara dress).

But maybe there’s an opinion that she should go for the more unique style and higher quality, and that means designer pieces. She is in the spotlight, you know, and being in the spotlight means you can’t afford any fashion emergencies. Thoughts?

I wonder how she does her shopping, now being a Duchess and all. Catalog? Online shopping? :)

YAY for the duchess of cambridge, a very good role model for every woman that “ordinary” brand still can suit perfectly & gorgeously. love her :D

Yeay… I think she’s a breath of fresh air to the ‘stuffy’ image of the royal family… those Zara and Reiss dresses look tres chic on her.. I think she’ll project a more laid back image of the royals…

It shows that style is not all about the money :)

Walaupun dia pakai baju yang semua orang bisa beli, tapi tetap keliatan stylish.
