If you’ve been browsing through the images of the New York Fashion Week for Spring 2012 Ready to Wear, you might have your favourite look already. For me, Vena Cava’s collection stood out among the rest by taking inspiration from the 40′s films that Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock watched during one of their research trip to Viet Nam.
What drew me to their collection, despite the interesting cut and colours, is the round glasses used by the models and the bags collection that debuted just now. They will be retailed for around $275 to $550 and all of them are functional, chic and somehow have that vintage feel.
