Now that the jeggings have become one of the staple items in everyone’s wardrobe, a new trend emerges. Wearing jegging is quite comfortable since it gives the feeling of wearing legging and the chicness of wearing skinny jeans. But can you imagine how it feels to wear jogging pants made out of denim? Now the denim family has got a new member called Jogg-jeans. The initiative to design jogg-jeans was created by Diesel. The company describes Jogg-jeans as “a unique fusion of design and groundbreaking new fabrics that combine the iconic style and durability of denim with the relaxed attitude and comfort of jogging pants”.

The promise makes sense because the fabric is created using the same method as knitted jersey sweat. According to Diesel’s website, two yarns have been used so that it looks just like denim on both the inside and out, even though it is actually a sweatpant fabric, then washed-looking detail is applied into the jogg-jeans.

Sounds interesting enough? But what do you think about its look? As we can see from the picture above that Jogg-jeans are baggy pants that have drawstrings on the waist. Drawstring might be an advantage to adjust the waist size but it is a thing we need to hide underneath the pants. The fit looks too slouchy and it doesn’t complement your body figure. However, when I see pictures of people wearing Jogg-jeans, I think these pants can be acceptable as long as we wear them right.

So, what’s your verdict? Is Jogg-jeans a yay or nay?
