Time passes so fast that it feels like just yesterday the 2010/2011 Jakarta Fashion Week was held where Fashionese Daily was a proud online media partner. Now Azura Activation, part of Femina Group, has started the preparation for 2011/2012 Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW 11/12). The largest fashion event in Indonesia will be held on November 12 – 18, 2011 in Pacific Place. From the beginning of its establishment, Femina Group is always committed to bring forward Indonesian fashion, either in the form of editorials in magazines, and also in the event the development of talented designers, among others, by JFW and LPM (Fashion Designer Competition).

Some steps have been conducted by the committee to hold JFW 11/12. After working together in the form of workshops with leading fashion institutes in Italy the Istituto Marangoni, Jakarta Fashion Week team also opens auditions for models. The audition that is joined by 200 models aims to find new talents in the world model who will be included in the JFW 11/12.

This year, the JFW 11/12 2012 is fully supported by the BRI, Mazda and The Body Shop. Indonesian Ministry of Trade and representatives of cultural institutions of other countries – the Goethe Institute and British Council – also express support in JFW 11/12.
