During their Spring and Summer 2011 exclusive preview held at the beginning of this month, Nike Sportswear held a talkshow with Anindita Saryuf the Fashion Editor of Elle Indonesia and Max Suriaganda Co-founder of Footurama and White Board Journal where they talk about the latest collection of Nike Sportswear and how it can be applied in your style.

Nino Priambodo the Marketing Manager of Nike Indonesia said that “Nike Sportswear celebrated the great icon that originally was designed for the best athletes in the world. Its style remains true to the culture of sports and portray Nike’s identity that has been redesigned to catch up with urban lifestyle that is modern. Through its [Nike] original design that remains true to its original form, the icon has been renewed with modern colours that is vibrant, full of details, with premium quality material and modern innovation that give birth to a collection of no match.”

In this spring and summer collection Nike Sportswear renewed their N98 jacket that originally was designed for Brazil’s running team in 1998 but it incorporated colour blocking and neon colour into the design that both are going to be big this season according to Dita.

Through this collection, you will also see the V-Series that reflected their true concept that no unnecessary accessories should be present and it should made running simple. Launched back in the 80′s, this collection included three different types of running shoes for different type of runners. Vectors is for those that need stability, Vengeance have extra cushioning to support extra speed whereas the combination of the two shoes is called Vortex.
