Spring is the time where the flowers are blooming and it’s also the case for Valentino’s Spring 2011 collection. Titled ‘Garden Party‘ this collection brought the beautiful full bloom flowers into it. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Pic cioli said that this collection is dedicated to the spirit of Valentino woman and their playful duplicity. It depicts contradiction that portrays both romantic and enigmatic feels as well as seductive and dark.

Although the collection shows a glimpse of femininity through the brush of harmonious flower prints stroked in extreme brightness and given a dramatic depth, but there’s a sense of confident within it. The mixture of multitude of flowers, tress and butterflies set in light background filled with shadows creates an even magical and enchanted touch to every piece.

For the accessories you will see the floral motifs elevated into three dimensional through precious hand-sewn technique and delicate lace embroideries applied on each design.  You will also see additional layer applied to sections of the prints to creates a subtle embossed effect that will bring you to reminisce on a works of art.
