Other than Lomba Perancang Mode (LPM), Femina Group also holds Lomba Perancang Aksesori (LPA) as part of their consistent effort in developing creative industry, as well as to discover new and untapped talents.

There is great demand for accessories in today’s fashion so there is always a need for creativity in designs. We’re always on the look out for new It bags or killer heels right?

There are three categories of accessories that are contested in the LPA 2010 under the theme of “Modern Urbanites”, they are costume jewelry, bag and shoes. Creativity, originality, style, harmony, wearability and selling values were assessed by the judges who all come from the fashion and accessory industry. The judges were Zornia Harisantoso (Editor in Chief of Grazia Indonesia), Meiliana (from BNI bank), Guy Bedarida (Creative Director and Head Designer of John Hardy), Lo Ing Bok (from Rotelli Indonesia) and Rinaldy A. Yunardi (owner and designer of R.A.Y, an accessory line), Nancy Go (Designer), Anskarina Christin (Assistant General Manager Marketing METRO Department Store), Ninuk Mardiana Pambudy (Journalist) and Titi DJ.

I was amazed by the talents I saw that day. In my opinion, all the finalists showed a great potential in accessory designs but of course, there can only be one winner from each category. And here they are!
