What happened when two famous names combined forces? Both UGG Australia and Jimmy Choo are well known shoe maker in their respective area. Ugg is an Australian sheepskin boot maker that has gain world wide recognition after several celebrities worn them outside their home. It’s well known for it’s comfort and a must haves winter footwear because it’s can protect you from the cool weather during the season.
As for Jimmy Choo I’m sure many of you have dreamt about owning a pair of them. The collaboration between the two brands have given birth to 5 styles of UGG boots that have wide variation in style and colour variations. It features the classic UGG boot with signature decorative style from Jimmy Choo such as studding, stars, grommets, leopard, zebra and hobo fringing detail. It also features an identifiable UGG & Jimmy Choo metallic printed and embossed heel logo patch.
Tamara Mellon, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Jimmy Choo said that “Other than Jimmy Choo, UGG Australia is the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe. I wear it at home in New York, on holiday in Malibu and as an essential travel accessory for my plane wardrobe.” As quoted from her, the capsule collection embodied “the legendary comfort of UGG with the spirit of Jimmy Choo.”
One of the boot which is the Mandah boot, a black UGG is adorned with loads of gold and silver grommet to create the stunning effect to create a patchwork of glittering detail and graphic attitude as seen on a black boot features in the Cruise 2011 Jimmy Choo advertising campaign.
The four other boots are Kaia, Starlit, Sora and Siobhan. Kaia is created from leopard and zebra printed lamb suede that have grommet and domed studs to create an antique finish. Whereas Starlit has silver stars adorning the black lamb suede and antique brass stars on chestnut lamb suede with a silkee suede fringe detail. Sora is a boot with a top cuff detail on 2 layers of silkee suede fringe that has silver star stud and antique brass star stud. For a more laid back look, yet still sassy, Siobhan (the first picture on tis post) looks like the right choice. It’s made from cable knit cashmere blend that also has antique nickel studs, lamb suede fringe detailed with antique nickel double faced studs.
The collections are now available on Jimmy Choo store at Plaza Indonesia and priced at Rp 6,500,000 to Rp 9,000,000.

I spent my high school in sunny LA, and every girl in my school wore UGG boots even in the hot bloody summer (w/ hotpants of course,its kinda ‘gaya wajib nan trendy’ for em) except me, I couldnt stand it ;p but yeaa ugg is comfy tho (despite of the ugliness! ;p)
