The Batik Collection from Roxy has finally launched. The collection consists of shirt, t shirt, dress and sandals that have prints inspired by Batik Mega Mendung and Batik Kawung. Although the prints are inspired by the print from traditional batik, but printing them into a t-shirt and shirt make the whole outfit more casual.
The Batik Collection from Roxy is available for both Women and Men, and for Fashionese Daily readers we have 6 packages for both you and your men (from Quicksilver), worth Rp 825,000, the package consist of:

suamiku punya koleksi tees warna linen&green. Saya sendiri bosen bgt liat koleksi pakaian doi yang dibeliin mertua, warnanya selalu berkisar item-putih. Akhirnya saya kalo beliin tees warnanya selalu cerah ceria. Klo tee warna linennya, dia mau pake karena motifnya yang lucu & beda. Khusus untuk yang green, dia mao pake karena saya beli kaos yang sama, pake yg ukuran S. Dan WAJIB dipake klo saya pake kaos itu, biar kembaran ceritanya. Biarin aja kaya anak panti.. krn ada temennya kali ya jadi dia mao makenya, he he he he..
pink and fuschia, and i’ll tell him that the color will make him GLOW!! But also i will let him combine it with his ragged jeans and his favorite Sanuk shoes.
I think he only has black-grey-dark grey-brown-white collections. So I think blue, turqoise and green are very good start to make him look not so ‘bapak bapak’ in his late 20s. At least he can look as charming ‘om om’ hehe…
Convince him in wearing bright color shirts is an unstoppable mission. It create a lil’ battle when i keep experience with extreme bright color and he stick on natural color such as brown, black and white. But there are no way for to giving up
I choose what i called “compromising bright color” such as linen, cream and light gray, that give more color but still consider save for him, so its a win win solution. But I’ll go extreme on accessories. Encouraging him to wear ties in bright color like pink, orange or even purple. “Encourage” is such a big word when I keep persuading and giving compliments whenever he wearing bright one

I’ll choose regatta and firecracker, it’s hard to make him wear what he called “girls colours”, but for me these two bright colours will rock his days for this spring. I’ll mix and match these colour outfit with roxy batik collection so that he’ll feel comfy ^_*
Pacar ku penggemar warna krem dan coklat, kadang dia suka ga mau kalo disuruh pake warna2 nge jreng, padahal aku suka dia pake warna merah.. Pacar aku termasuk putih jadi cocok pake warna merah terutama merah marun.. Caranya meyakinkan dia untuk pake baju yang ku beliin tinggal dipuji2 aja.. Ku bilang dia keliatan ganteng, cocok pake warna merah, baju nya potongan nya pas dan lain2.. Dan berhubung dia emang gampang di gombalin ya dia mau make tuh tanpa aku harus ngambek.. Heheh..

I think I would ask him to wear Linen Color!
Its too bright for him, I think, but its a good way to start coloring his wardrobe! I think its too hard to convince him wearing fuschia outfit, but in Linen, I would tell him that its color suit him well, since we’re both have dark-skin. And it also can be mixed with soft pink, so we both can wear outfit in a similar color!

Because I love yellow! It’s that obvious
But I like him wearing yellow because it brings out the soft side of him.
He’s tall and big, and has dense and straight eyebrows that made him look so scary; but him with soft yellow looks so good, he’s more approachable that way
Way to convince him = Get him one!
He’ll wear it even if just for once. And when he does, I’ll put my biggest smile and compliment him often that day. But it will be hard since we’re in a long distance relationship…
I’m glad to report that being a woman who loves colors, I have no problems convincing my husband to wear all sort of colors. Of course being his persistent (to the point of nagging) fashion stylist and buyer, I don’t let him have much say on what colors he should wear (more). Anything I like, I get it for him
He has purple, turquoise, russet, yellow, brigh green, red and all shades of blue shirts

suami saya kalau pilih tees maunya warna yang kalem2 aja misalnya cream,coklat muda,biru muda, sekalinya berani warna yang diambil hitam…Kalau ditanya katanya ga PD pake warna yang cerah dan menantang….hhmmm pikir punya pikir…gimana caranya supaya dia mau pakai warna yang terang benderang ya?… Kebetulan suatu waktu ada temen kantor yang lagi jalan-jalan ke Jogja, dia nawarain pingin titip oleh-oleh apa…okelah kalau begitu, ini saatnya beraksi..hihihhi…Aku titip sama temenku itu Tees Dagadu *ups blh sebut merk ga ya?*… warna kuning terang, dengan tulisan2 kata-kata lucu di depannya, termasuk aku dan anak-anakku (2 orang)…Eh ternyata dia mau pakai Tees itu. Maka berseragamlah kita ke suatu acara kantor..Teman-teman yang lihat kami berseragam jadi salut karena kekompakkan keluarga kami…hihihihii senangnya hatiku bisa merubah sedikit selera suami.

Suamiku mungkin sama kaya pria-pria umumnya yang lebih suka warna-warna netral seperti biru, putih, hitam… Pink n lavender shade biasanya untuk baju kantor aja, klo kaos atau ‘baju jalan2′ mana mau!
Mengingat kulitnya lumayan putih, pasti cocok deh pake orange.
Kepengen banget ngeliat suami pakai warna Firecracker (bright orange)..
Ga ada cara lain buat bikin dia mau warna yang kita pilihin selain dipaksa nyobain dulu di Fitting Room trus dipuji2 “Tuuh keren kaaan..”

I’m a huge fan of blue-green color palette. Though I do have parts of my wardrobe in that color, it must be nice seeing it on my boyfriend’s outfit.
Been wondering if he’ll wear Blue Curacao (Pantone for Spring Men’s Collection). But first, I gotta find a fashion item in his wardrobe that will match this color. Then I’ll convince him how a new shirt in Blue Curacao will look great with his khaki pants.

untungnya suamiku nggak demen baju warna hitam karena susah perawatannya (dia paling bete kalo baju warna hitam jadi kayak ada bulu2 putihnya itu lho). dan dia juga cukup sadar kalo hitam bakal bikin tambah bluwek di kulit, hihi…
tapi akibatnya dia milih warna yang netral2 aja: abu2, krem, putih. sudah lama gak lihat dia pake baju yang warnanya ‘keluar’. jadi sepertinya aku akan milih FIRECRACKER atau orange shade lainnya: bisa bikin kulit cerah, masih bisa dipaduin dengan jeans atau celana warna khaki.

Contrary to popular trend, my man loves to wear colors and accessories. To mention some: pink, fuchsia T-shirts; hats with clashing patterns; necklaces and bracelets from fish or snake bones. Think Jay Kay.

Suamiku jarang sekali pakai warna-warna terang. Dia lbh senang dan bahagia pakai warna-warna gelap dan soft. Tiap kali kuminta pakai warna terang suka agak malas2an pakainya. So it’ll be nice for me to ask him wearing turf green and flint gray, colour I’m pretty sure he’ll be comfortable in it
if some of you complained that your man often wearing black AND white AND grey..well consider yourself lucky girls…cos my dearest husband only wear 1 color that is black. Hiks. So..if i can choose one colour that i can tell my husband to wear, it would be flint gray. Simply bcos it is not black.
I will convince him that gray is simply a lighter version of black and i gotta make sure the outfit are loose enough so that he can still feel comfortable in it.

Mengapa motif Parang Garuda ? Karna dahulu, hanya raja dan putranya yg diijinkan menggunakan motif ini..krn parang garuda adalah simbol kekuasaan,kasatriya,dan wibawa..just made for royal family…
Mengapa memilih dark brown? Karna di Yogyakarta ,warna-warna batik bernuansa coklat putih dengan maksud langit dan tanah…suatu hari nanti kita kembali menjadi tanah dan kembali ke langit…

My man is not stylish at all. He used to wear dark color shirts paired up with a pair of jeans to work, yeas you heard me right. However, since he’s started a new a job a month ago he’s now back wearing his suit. The suits are in dark colors but he paired them up with shirts in light blue, purple and white which I think look very nice on him. Light color suits his skin tone better and make him glow

definitely pastel colours!
mostly baju-baju suamiku warnanya seputar, hitam sama abu-abu, sejak nikah i try to dress him in pastel colours, which make his skin tone look brighter, strateginya mulai dari beliin dia polo shirt dan kemeja kerja warna-warna pastel (especially biru pastel) yang bahannya comfy dan menyusunnya di bagian atas tumpukan baju-baju di lemari setiap habis disetrika.
(suamiku punya kebiasaan untuk mengambil baju yang mau dia pakai di tumpukan paling atas tanpa pikir panjang)
dan baju-baju dia yang hitam-hitam buluk itu aku taruh di tumpukan paling bawah dan sebisa mungkin nggak kelihatan karena ditumpuk sama jaket-jaket…
well…voila…it works! eversince i used that trick dia jadi terbiasa untuk make warna-warna pastel yang cerah ceria

My husband has the tendency to wear calm dark colour in clothes.
the only time he wears light colours like bright red or light blue is when he wears his favorite soccer team jersey to the mall, which happens every weekend.
To get him to wear another color, especially in blue hue, I usually buy him a shirt/polo in that color tone with comfortable fabric, and tell him he’d look so amazing in it (which absolutely is true
). Also especially since it’s a gift, he wouldn’t want to hurt my feelings and wear it most of the time. Overtime it’d become one of his favorite shirts to wear.:)
