Yup. It was announced yesterday at Portico Terrace Bistro, Senayan City, that Sherina Munaf, a singer and songwriter, has been chosen as Maybelline New York Icon and she is the first Indonesian ever to hold the title! The selection process took 6 months and Maybelline New York chose someone who is multi-talented, inspiring and independent to represent its products in Indonesia.
Mitzy Cassandra, Marketing Manager Maybelline New York said that Sherina Munaf’s combination of true Indonesian beauty and modern and independent personality is in line with the international cosmetic brand’s image. According to Mitzy, Sherina personifies a true Maybelline girl who is active, spirited and looks good all day long.

Not only a singer and songwriter, she’s a ballerina and she does wushu too. Bravo.. But I must agree, that the photo on the bottom is terrible, it’s too airbrushed.

About the overly photoshopped picture, yeah it’s a shame huh? She is beautiful as she is and so young! Belum ada kerutan2nya juga gitu loh. Tapi pas event kemaren sih kita liat dandanannya nggak tebel kok. She looked pretty and still looked like herself (as you can see on the first and second pictures), so hopefully foto airbrushed itu bukan yg akan ditampilkan ke mana2 ya
