When I did this look, I set myself to the very principle “ there is no rule in make up”. As long as you’re comfortable with it, any colours will do just fine.
With that notion in mind, even though I’ve already done such colourful eyes, I didn’t restrict myself on what colour to choose for the cheek and lips. Of course, the basic principle is that when you have bold in one area – be it eyes, lips or cheek, you have to choose subtle colour for other areas. Then again, if you’re comfortable with it (and it doesn’t look like you’re a clown), why not?

Btw agree with Disti. I think it looks balanced because the shades you choose compliment each other even if they’re all a bit dark..
