There’s nothing better than the feeling you get from wearing a crisp white shirt or a white spring dress when it’s hot out. But still a lot of women struggle with the question:

“What should I wear under white?’.

This can seem like a hard question to answer, but don’t be afraid here are the do’s and don’ts when it comes to under-white-underwear.

1. Let’s start with the basic. Wearing white underwear underneath white clothes is a definite no-no, unless you have a wonderful white lingerie set that you want others to see . That actually can be great too when done classy. When you are going for a look with no visible bra or panty, white under white is not the right choice to make as most white fabrics are always a bit transparent. The white lingerie underneath your white clothes will become very visible and this probably isn’t what you want.
2. So when you want your underwear not to be seen through your white clothes, the safe option is to go with nude or skin coloured underwear. Always try to find a colour similar to your own skin colour as too big of a difference may result in showing anyway.
3. While nude is a safe option it most of the time isn’t a very flattering or sexy one. A lot of women try to stay away from this ‘colour’ when it comes to lingerie, because it doesn´’t give them the feeling pretty lingerie gives them. For this there is a great solution: RED. Yes, red is great under white.  No, I haven’t gone crazy. The right shade of red lingerie underneath white clothes that aren’t too transparent, can give you the same effect nude coloured lingerie gives you. But, be careful when picking out the right shade. Make sure it’s not too orange or pink. Just try it the next time you go bra shopping. So there, you can still look classy and sexy at the same time
