Finding the perfect swimsuit is hard, especially for a curvy girl like myself. I’ve written a post about tankini a while back but I have to admit that there aren’t many choices available for tankinis here that give both adequate coverage and style. So my search isn’t completely over.
About a week ago, a package arrived at our fuchsia office that caused a little bit of a commotion. Inside the package lied a beautiful, 50s style, striped, high waist bikini from twentyforteen. Vanya, Tjetjep and I wanted to try it on but after I realized that it wasn’t my size or Vanya’s, we marched Tjetjep to the fitting room and let her be the model.
When she finally stepped out, Vanya and I gasped. It looked wonderful! The high waist of the bikini bottom cleverly conceals any unsightly bulge and the hem stops at the right spot so that it still looks decent. The fabric feels soft and stretches well so it is comfortable to wear. The only thing we were not sure about was the top, as it was only hanging by a single diagonal strap. It looked fine on Tjetjep, but I’m thinking for..ehmm.. “busty” girls, the top probably needs more support 
Anyway, we headed straight to twentyforteen blog and Facebook and checked out the other models and there were so many chic one-piece and bikinis to choose from, I still can’t decide until now!
The swimsuits come in S, M and L sizes but you can ask the designer, Anggi, for some alterations if yours don’t fit to your liking. Isn’t that wonderful?
Twentyforteen swimsuits can be ordered from their blog or facebook. The price ranges between Rp. 250.000 (bikini/monokini) to Rp. 300.000 (one piece, high waist bikini). Or you can come to Monday to Sunday boutique, Jl. Kemang I no. B1-B2 (next to Little Baghdad).
We have a feeling this one is going to sell like hot cakes so start ordering your favorite swimsuit, girls!

I ordered a one piece from Anggi. It looks and feels like an LBD, very pretty & slimming I got many compliments when I’m wearing it!

i looove the first one so much, but I think it has to much stripes. would have been better if the bottoms were red too.
anyway, ada yang tau nggak soal kualitasnya? gue picky banget soal baju renang, menurut gue nggak banyak brand bathing dan swimming suit yang produknya bisa bener-bener mengcover tubuh dengan baik, apalagi begitu nyemplung ke air…
