This year has been quite a challenge for us. When we started Fashionese Daily, we promised ourselves to give our readers good and useful articles and that is what we’ve been trying our best to deliver. Also, we want to make Fashionese Daily a comfortable place for everyone, especially for all ladies… for you.

Here are some highlights in 2009

• January
  Fifty FD members got new lipstics from Clinique. We’re featured at CosmoGirl & Female Magazine! We also had our yearly Kelas Dandan and this is what we learned from the 2-days event!
• February
  We started to use Twitter regularly, even though we already had our Twitter account in September 2008. If you’re using Twitter, you can find us on Twitter: @fashionesedaily. Hey, did you remember Clinique & FD Birthday Bash? FD also had an opportunity to interview John Stapleton. We shared a news the Louis Vuitton Global Store at Plaza Indonesia was open for public on February 26, 2009.
• March
  FD was on Femina and Herworld Magazine. We walked you to Louis Vuitton Global Store. We had our first Twitter giveaway, and also Twitter contest. Hanzky also asked you to stop using the word “Autis” as a joke. We hope noone is doing it anymore! Affi found fellow perfume maniacs and she got together with them in FD’s very first Sniff Gathering.
• April
  We welcomed Deszell as FD’s newest beauty writer while Affi admitted that she is curvy and proud of it. Also, Kompas wrote about us.
• May
  Did you remember Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival? During this festival, we wrote about Fashion Village and Kampoeng Tempo Doeloe. Deszell also explained why the women in our forum are crazy about Nars blushes. (Psst, you might be too after reading that post!)
• June
  We’re growing and we added more capacity for our webhosting server. It was doubled. We had another Twitter giveaway contest. This time, the contest was sponsored by YSL. We published not only one article about Great Singapore Sale… but two!  Dundan shared what she had on her plate, and you said ‘dahsyattt!’. Remember?
• July
  A sad news for all of us. Due to a big tragedy happened in Indonesia, Makeup Artistry Gregory Arlt canceled his trip to Jakarta. We had our first big gathering. Curious? Don’t forget to read the report.
• August
  We’re proud to be Indonesians. In August, we had FD August Projects. Read some interviews on what they love or proud most about Indonesia. We love contests! NYX Cosmetics gave some fabulous prizes. DYS asked you to go to the cinema and watch fashion-related flicks!
• September
  We’re sad because Koukla had to leave FD. But, we’re happier because we have Affi! A week later, we also welcomed Vanya. FD’s DYS shared her story about Fashion’s BIG Night Out in New York. We asked our readers to get to know one of our forum members, Rere, our most loved beauty shopper while the others got together in a fun afternoon with Soyjoy for buka puasa bersama!
• October
  Clinique and FD had a Friendship Day (read the report). In October, UNESCO officially named batik as the world heritage. Read what we wrote about batik in October archive. Some FD members had a garage sale and they called it Shop for Hope. Affi was invited to Singapore by Tupperware Indonesia to visit Red Dot Design Museum. Anyway, are you one of the 100 lucky members who attended beauty workshop/consultation by Estee Lauder, Clinique, MAC and Sean John Perfume? In this month, we had our second server for our websites.
• November
  We welcomed our first sister site, Fame N Frame. Time for BB Craze Part II. If you want to start collecting brushes, you should read five brushes to start. We had some reports from Jakarta Fashion Week 09/10. Jakarta Globe wrote something about Fashionese Daily. And does anybody know where Loucee has been? (We do!)
• December
  Fashionese Daily had a new baby. Welcome Mommies Daily! Hello Hellolulu! Hello Hanzky! What happened when Affi joined Centro Shopping Rally?

Looking back, it’s hard to believe that we’ve come so far and how so many things happened in only a year. But at this rate, we think that we better be ready for 2010 because looks like it’s also going to be another thrilling ride! We hope you stick with us so we can all enjoy it together
