Navajo is a Native American tribe who lives in the Four Corners region (Southwest Colorado, Northwest New Mexico, Northeast Arizona and Southeast Utah).

These prints remind me of winter and Christmas a lot, I think I might have one cozy Navajo sweater back in the days.
GAP used to release this every Fall, along with the other winter attributes like gloves, mitten hats, poncho and scarf. The characteristic of Navajo is a multicolor mix of zigzags and stripes, with different kind of borders (spirals, waves, etc). Each pattern on the real woven piece (not the printed one) tells story and movement of Navajo people that vary by year.
