ini baju yg gue pake buat shalat ied. pengennya sekalian baju utk lebaranan ama keluarga, unfortunately it’s not breastfeeding friendly
jadi abis shalat gue ganti deh
“I didn’t really prepare any Lebaran outfit because there were so much going on prior to the holiday that shopping for new clothes didn’t really make it to my priority list. But at the last minute, my mom gave me this kaftan which she got from her friend from Pakistan (yes she’s regifting hehe) and turned out they were an excellent outfit to spend Lebaran in! The fabrics is cool and comfortable and the cutting is loose enough for me to hide my “Lebaran tummy” (that’s been around since God knows how many Lebarans ago heheh) And I just love the vibrant color.”
Ahhh.. akhirnya lebaran juga! Kalo enggak, kapan lagi gw pake baju indang, secara acara resmi juga jarang bener.. kawinan apalagi..
Ini diambil lagi acara sholat Ied sekitar 2000 warga muslim wilayah Washington, DC dan sekitarnya, yang dilaksanakan di gedung olahraga Thomas Jefferson Middle School di Arlington, Virginia.
Gue sedang meliput acara ini untuk VOA (Voice of America).
Dress yang gue dapatkan di bazaar Citos ini terdiri dari 2 potong, dan gue suka banget motif2nya tabrakan.
Dalemnya dress batik panjang lengan setali, dan jaket panjangnya gabungan antara tenun ikat dan batik tulis.
Orang-orang bilangnya ini antara kostum Cina, Korea, sama Jepang
A pretty casual outfit for Lebaran. I don’t think I would survive the day if I have to wear dressier and more restricted outfit as I woke up at 5 and didn’t get back home until close to mid night. First visit was My Dad’s grave in Sentul and then back to the city to my Grandma’s house from my mom’s side and third visit was to my uncle from my Dad’s side where everyone from the whole family gathered. After that, we went to Depok area to Grandpa’s in law. Last destination was parents in law. A tiring day indeed but I was pleased to feel a certain sense of peace and accomplishment throughout Ramadhan.
And where’s the other editors? Ah well. we didn’t go anywhere special (me) so we only put our jim jams on that day (well.. that’s me again :p)
