Romantic Plum Look

NARS Fall 2009

When I saw the promotional picture for NARS Fall 2009 collection I was left speechless. I’ve been secretely in love with plum and this fall plummy colours going to be big. The complete collection is now up on NARS website and I was a little bit dissapointed that they didnt launch a new blush with this collection because the plummy cheeks looks so pretty. Instead the fall 09 cheeks was created using product from their permanent collection. To achieve the lushious cheeks Diane Kendal started with contouring the cheeks with Cap Vert Multiple Bronzer. I think the idea is to lift your cheekbone so it will look very prominent under the plum shade. You can also used your normal shading product such as MAC Sculpt and Shape, Make Up For Ever Sculpting Kit or Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Summer Tan. Brushed lightly NARS blush in Angelika on the entire cheeks area up to the hairline followed by NARS blush in Gilda on the apple of the cheeks.

To complete the look apply NARS Fast Ride sheer lipstick and if you’re feeling to give it all you have finish the whole look with Tokaido Express Nail Polish.

This collection could’t have come at the very right time since one of our moderator Slesta is opening a PO for NARS product at our beloved Market Plaza.

jenna – waduh gue gak kebayang kalo head to toe plum tapi kalo ungunya di baju gak terlalu banyak mungkin di make up bisa pake banyak

Slesta – wah ternyata lo juga teracuni lipstick plum ya? gue juga dulu move on dari lipstick nude karena warna plum. Lo menebarkan racun ajah ni shin!

Dundan – kayaknya gak mungkin yah seheboh ini pake blush buat sehari2 tapi beneran tempted! Cuman kombinasinya bisa dicoba in lighter version

Duncil – gue sendiri gak pernah limit cool blush with cool and vice versa. Kadang gue campur cool tone blush with warm tone highlighter :p
