The Twin Sister: NARS Gina & Gilda

NARS Gina and Gilda, whats the difference? They’re both look practically the same for me. Sometimes NARS blushes confuse me with their color selection. Few of them look similar to one another. Gina is Tangerine whereas Gilda is Coral. They’re both are on the coral side right?

Lets take a step back from the Gina vs Gilda matter and let me tell you how I just love NARS matte blushes texture. They’re velvetty, soft and finely milled. If you pick up the blush lighthandedly the colour will build up nicely. On top of that you can just add whatever highlighter you choose, from the frosty to glittery one to create your own perfect blush. I love to pair it with MAC MSF in Shimpagne for a little frost, Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick in Gold for more drama and Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick in Bronze to warm it up. If you want a little bling bling in your face try to add Grasenbon blush or MAC Beauty Powder in Sassed Up (sorry girls this one is LE from Fafi collection). These blushes are perfect with soft bristle brush or even your duo-fibre brush.

Back to the Gina vs Gilda topic, not in so many word in my opinion Gilda is best suited for the cool tone because of a tinge of pink in it whereas Gina is better for the warm skin tone. Gilda reminds me a lot of MAC Fafi LE blush in Hipness without its slight frost finish.

Should you get it? Why, of course you should because it’s the perfect coral blush and there’s one for every skintone to choose from. I will let the pictures speak for itself regarding the slight difference between the two.
