A Rose Is A Rose..

If you love bath and body products, you should check out Dewi Sri Spa. They have a new range of bath & body products that sound so good, I feel like I wanna grab ‘em all.
One particular range I’m most interested in is the Javanese Rose collection. As rose seems to be everywhere this summer from makeup to fragrance, I am eager to try a complete range of bath and body that uses the flowers from my own country. According to the website, Javanese rose also indulge the inner beauty with subtle oil that gives a peace of mind, maintain healthy skin and prevent aging process while alluring Aphrodisiac promotes sexual desire. Regardless of the claim that made me want to giggle, I LOVE the smell of rose so I am pretty much sold.
Javanese Rose collection consists of body wash, body scrub, body lotion and body mist.
The good news is, you can buy these products and other stuff from different range in a new Martha Tilaar online shop. You can also buy the much sought-after Sariayu Cantika Jawa Timur collection.
The bad news is, they don’t sell the individual product, instead they sell them in one package. So for example, if you want to buy just the Javanese Rose body lotion, you can’t. You have to buy the entire range which retails for IDR 529.000. The same applies for products from other brands.
I hope Martha Tilaar is going to change this policy soon because honestly, it doesn’t really leave the customers with too much option right? Whenever we try a new product for the first time, we always want to buy one or two stuff instead of spending money on an entire collection which may or may not suitable for us.
Other than that, I’m still happy that Martha Tilaar is taking on this new business venture. As a customer, I’d love nothing but knowing that the products I’m interested in is available on the tips of my fingers.

yang gue udah coba mangga, mayan lah. cuma gue lebi suka packaging dewi sri spa yg dulu, pake botol2 kaca, cakep dan unik, mo kasi ke orang buat kado juga bagus. skrg platik, blah.
kenapa ya tante martha jualan dipaketin gitu, don’t make any sense at all. brands indonesia memang ketinggalan banget soal jualan online, padahal it’s relatively cheap to set up. plus convenient buat kita2…

About the online shop, like I said above, gue jg menyayangkan, tp baca sekilas di announcementnya sih (di corporate websitenya martha tilaar) kelihatannya online shop ini baru banget, dibuka Mei 2009 and I guess they’re testing the water. Gue yakin sih sebentar lagi pasti akan dilengkapi barang2nya dan dengan policy yang lebih memudahkan customernya. Mudah2an juga dari Martha Tilaar ada yg baca curahatan hati kita ini

Dulu yg pakai kaca cuma bath saltnya aja, sih.
Packagingnya memang baru diperbarui. Yg baru ini lebih modern look, lebih global, sedangkan yg dulu lbh rustic dan njawani.
Sama, dulu kagak ada rasa2 buah macam manggis itu. Dulu cuman dibagi berdasarkan peruntukannya: slimming, romantic, reviving, dan 1 lagi apa ya? anti-stress or sumthin?
Iya deb, I noticed the change in the packaging dari yg njawani ke modern-looking. Tp kalo dr kaca ke plastik itu yg gue nggak ngeh. Rasa2 buah2an ini emang line baru sih under ‘signature’, kalo yg elo bilang slimming dll itu masuknya ke line yg ‘classic’, termasuk yg peppermint yg elo bilang itu kan? Gue sebenernya lbh suka yg modern look ini sih packagingnya, waktu liat pertama aja gue nggak nyangka ini Dewi Sri spa. Kyknya kl dijual ke luar negeri bisa bersaing gitu dan tetep njawaninya msh ada jg (I love the logo too btw). Cuma harganya emang lumayan mahal sih ya dibandingin produk bath and body Indonesia lainnya. But then I figured, if I could spend the same amount (even more) in TBS, why not spend that much on a local brand? Apalagi kl kualitasnya emang ok.
Kualitas luar biasa!! Body mist-nya mengingatkanku dengan Rose 31-nya Le Labo. Believe me, this is not a joke!
Oh, terima kasih infonya. Gue nyoba and I’m loving it! Murah meriah, wanginya bertahan lama (gabungan sabun dan body mist) dan gak bikin gatel padahal gue alergian (body shop aja gak pernah cucok).
Sekarang gue pake yang mangga, enaak.
wah di review jg ya di sini. gw udah pake dr taon lalu, and i love it. like Koukla said, i spent more on TBS so why not spend it on local brands.
packagingnya menurut gw bisa bersaing dg produk luar, sayangnya masih jarang liat di toko2 sini. setau gw sih mereka masukin ke sogo/metro gitu, but so far klo beli selalu di puri ayu akhirnya.
body mistnya gw paling suka peach, while body washnya gw suka yg melati. yg buat pijetnya jg enak2 dehn *lupa namanya*
kalo mau beli dimana ya? hehe
Sekedar review dari Blewah Temptation-nya Dewi Sri Spa nih…
Aromanya bener2 unik dan fresh banget, cocok banget untuk pemakaian pagi hari menurut saya.
Produknya ada body wash scrub, body butter, dan body mist.
Body wash scrubnya praktis dan oke banget karena ringan untuk pemakaian sehari2 (biasa saya pake yg body scrub Sensual/Reviving seminggu sekali aja).
Body butternya (perasaan ini body butter pertama dari Dewi Sri Spa ya?) bener2 lembut dan lembab banget di kulit, tidak terasa lengket, far better than body lotionnya Dewi Sri Spa yang pernah aku coba, mudah2an aja akan ada body butter dengan varian lainnya ya.
Body mistnya menyegarkan dan mengkomplitkan aroma blewahnya.
