For the third Design Editions, GAP teamed up with 2008 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners: Albertus Swanepoel, Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai of Vena Cava, and Alexander Wang. These designers will present their very own reinterpretation of GAP’s classic : the Khaki. The result, a safari-chic inspired collection with utilitarian nuance. I’m liking the Vena Cava collection and definitely eyeing the Alexander Wang‘s cropped trench!
The collection will be available on June 16th, 2009, exclusively in GAP flagship and selected stores in the US, Canada, UK, France, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Russia, and… INDONESIA, yayy ! (*hope this is not a rumor.. quoting from nitrolicious) It will also be available online in the US at GAP website. All items will range from $39.50 to $88.00.
The campaign itself was photographed by Craig McDean, styled by Karl Templer, and featuring Raquel Zimmermann, Coco Rocha, Anna Jagodzinska and Arlenis Sosa.
