One Hot Day

One of the staples in my wardrobe is shirt dress. I love them because they’re a no-brainer choice when you’re late for work or for a meeting and don’t have much time thinking about pulling an outfit together, and can also be dressed down by pairing it with flats or more casual-looking bags.
I had to attend an important meeting with one of world’s biggest cosmetic brands that day so I had to look more formal than usual. It felt like the hottest day of the year and I realy wanted to wear something that was not stifling but still looked presentable so I put on this cotton shirt dress. The fabric is cool and lightweight and in a color that is just right (not too dark or bright). It also reminded me a bit of this TO post 
I decided to go monochromatic that day, even my makeup was all about caramel and light brown shades that day! However, I couldn’t bring myself to actually wear brown shoes (waaay too matchy matchy for my taste) so I opted for this patterned mary janes instead.
