The sixth annual Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival has officially started last Wednesday night. This year’s theme is Locafore, which basically means an encouragement for everyone to consume and buy Indonesian products and preserve our culture.

Between today and the 23rd everyone needs to make time to go up north and experience the open air night market at La Piazza that is decorated like Kampoeng Tempo Doeloe. It has various food stalls from Jakarta famous street food like Nasi Goreng Kebon Sirih, Ketoprak Ciragil, Bebek Kaleyo, Aneka Soto Nusantara and other nostalgic food like Kerak Telor, Kerupuk Rambut Nenek, Gulali Kembang Gula. You can enjoy the culinary fiesta while watching Layar Tancep or traditional dances, with Monas miniature in the background, and if you’re lucky, you can see the stars in the dark sky too.
Fashion Village, located next to Kampoeng Tempo Doeloe, provides booth from various designers to showcase their collection that we can buy on the spot.
