The Continuing Battle for NARS Blushes

If you’ve been following FD Forum Make Up Addict Thread, you will soon notice that there’s this one thread that always been on top of the list which is the NARS sub-thread. Among the hundreds of pages there, the most talked topic was the NARS Blushes. Why do FD girls still so enthusiast with the NARS Blushes after all this time?
For a start the NARS blushes are much pigmented, just a light sweep across the product is all you need. There’s even an expression that NARS blush can last you a lifetime so you really get your money worth from that little black casing. The colours variation are unique, although the colour seemed to scare you at first as soon as you put it on your cheeks it just look lovely. There are also plenty of colours to choose from for every shade and skin tone.
Most NARS blushes contains pretty shimmer which is not over powering that people might think that you pour glitters into your cheeks, just subtle enough to give your cheek a healthy look. It is also not frosty therefore safe for those with oily skin and don’t want a shiny look. The powder of the blush are finely milled and easily picked up by any kind of brush, from the most expensive one to the cheap drugstore brand brushes.
For all the reason laid out above, the NARS blush is very easily blended so even a beginner can just master the application of this blush right away no matter how horrid the colour might look like in the pan.
Some say that they love the rubber packaging, because it’s very sturdy and you can just carry it in your make up pouch without worrying that you might break the blush. Few others think that the rubber case is just annoying because it gets dirty easily. For me, the slim packaging is very convenient because it takes just a small space on my make up pouch so that I can stuff more things in there.

So why do I love NARS blush? Like Francois Nars said above, the blush makes me noticeable even in the crowd, despite my make up.

Gw cuma punya Torrid dan Super Orgasm (I sold my Orgasm and Crazed) dan setiap kali ke Sephora, gw semedi di depan raknya.. tetep aja kok gak ada yg memanggil2, ya?

Gw juga doyan bgt ama ngeliatin warna2nya dan pekejingnya nars indang, minimalis&bisa nyelip dimana aja. gw cuman punya Torrid & Angelika tapi akhirnya gw jual gara2 jarangg bgt dipake. entah knapa saban gw pake trus ngaca kok rasanya kagaada yg special *apa salah warna??*
Juara bener deh, 1 tepokan doang warnanya udah grengg.. bisa dipake ampe tua gw rasa

gw baru terpanggil beberapa bulan belakangan ini sih,tadinya gw udah ga suka sama nars, because my first nars blush is matahari, and i hate it

NARS orgasm adalah blush pertama favorite gue, karna waktu itu sebagai pemakai make up pemula, rasanya susahhhhh banget pake blush. Pas dapet blush ini, dandan langsung berasa gampang dan cepet. Bahkan akhirnya gue nemuin cara dandan paling cepat, yaitu skip smua pemakaian oroduk makeup yang lain kecuali bedak, tinggal pakein NARS and I’m ready to face the world
Tapi NARS gue gak bergerak dari 1 biji yang gue punya itu selama bertahun2 sampe gue join FD… dan dalam waktu kurang dari 2 bulan skarang NARS gue beranak pinak sampe 5 biji (dan 4 lagi on the way).

aaah..jadi inget, nars pertamaku itu torrid, sesuai anjuran ibu dundan, dan setelah sekarang punya 19 *sebentar lagi jadi 23 kl PO nya nia dateng*..yak nia 19 tyt bukan 14, hakhakhak, ternyata oh ternyata yang paling kepake ya si Torrid tea….

udah pernah coba 2 blush Nars, 2-2nya dijual lagi padahal baru pake bbrp kali. texture-wise, Shu blushes are much better menurutku. warnanya jg somehow aku lebih demen warna2 Shu blushes.

yah mungkin gue termasuk yg gila blush nars. blush non-nars gue udh hampir abis gue jual2in. sementara nars gue mulai beranak pinak. alasan gue sih, krn warnanya lgs keluar, tp blendable bgt. krn gue nggk hobi numpuk blush & touch-up, nars udah cukup buat gue. 1 macem blush nars, udh buat seharian…. tp kalo begini, kapan abisnya yah… LOL
