On May 5, which has been declared as Chanel No.5 day by the city of New York, Chanel debuts a short film starring 
Audrey Tatou and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (her Amelie’s director). the film is a tale of chance and fate – a brief encounter between a man and a woman traveling to Istanbul on the Orient Express night train with an intertwining of two destinies that will be brought together by a scent like no other.

One of the “Landmark” in the perfumery industry. Chanel #5 is the first frag introducing Aldehyde. Utterly classic and worth to collect.

That’s so true! IMO, you have to really dress up if you want to wear Chanel No.5 because otherwise it will wear you instead of the other way around.

Hahahaha I love LOVE Chanel No.5 but I won’t wear it often because of the reason above (not wanting to feel underdressed for the frag) but I think I am also head over heels in love with eau premiere. Seriously, it smells divine!

I think re-watched the Nicole Kidman / Baz Luhrman version and I’m gonna have to agree with you. It does capture the glamour of Chanel No.5 perfectly.
