Well, what can I say? I’m obsessed with lipsticks in bright, bold shades. Red is my favorite but coming in close second is fuchsia! I own several fuchsia lipsticks and now happy to introduce you the latest one in my collection!
NYX Round Lipstick in Eucalyptus is a bright fuchsia with blue reflects. It reminds me a lot of MAC Fun ‘N Sexy lipstick from last year’s FAFI collection but whereas the blue in Fun ‘N Sexy comes in glitter chunks, in Eucalyptus it is more of a subtle sheen and you can hardly see it once it’s on the lips. Also, Eucalyptus is deeper pink compared to Fun ‘N Sexy as you can see in the swatch.

Formula-wise, NYX wins hands down.Even though I love the shade in Fun ‘N Sexy, admittedly the formula isn’t my favorite. It is gritty (I’m pretty sure it’s because of the glitters) and a bit drying, Eucalyptus, on the other hand, just glides on smoothly and feel comfortable on the lips. It is quite pigmented and the finish is similar to MAC satin lipsticks but with a bit of a sheen.
And to those of you who might ask, what do you pair with fuchsia lip color? My answer will be this : with attitude

Saya punya beberapa lipstik NYX–warna-warna mencolok tentunya, apa gunanya pakai lipstik kalau tidak berwarna ceria dan mencolok? ^^
Lipstik NYX memang “murah meriah” dengan tawaran warna yang, setidaknya menurut saya, sangat menyenangkan untuk dipilih.

Besides @Citos, where else can u find NYX counter? I have the similar color from Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Fuchsia. But everytime I put it on, just by the time I’m walking out the door, I’ll wipe it off.
Guess haven’t have the guts to wear it yet t work yet. I wore it before though, for stage make-up. It is very sexy!
NYX stores are located in EX and La Piazza Kelapa Gading. They’re also available inside department stores in some malls like Centro Plaza Semanggi.
Maybe you should try with fuchsia lipgloss first as it’s sheerer and easier to work with

Yeah…I don’t mind bright colored gloss, but when it comes to lipstick, dunno why no guts. Maybe I’m more a gloss kinda girl.
