It was a lovely Saturday afternoon and we were glad to spend it with the beautiful FD-ers and their equally beautiful moms!
Yes, after a careful deliberation, 20 finalists of the Mommy & Me photo contest were chosen and they were all invited to the event at Pondok Indah Mall Atrium on Saturday, 4th April 2009.
Unfortunately, not all showed up due to personal reasons, but nonetheless, the show must go on and we still had a blast!
After the contestants received personal consultations with the helpful Clinique staff, we all got together at the main atrium to get the event started. The MC introduced all finalists one by one and asked them to do a short catwalk in the middle of the busy mall! It was definitely a surprise to all of them, but we gotta hand it to all FD-ers and their moms for being such a good sport about it! Some seemed really shy but some seemed to be quite natural at it! 
We were then treated to an accoustic performance by The Trees & The Wild. If you like Kings of Convenience, John Mayer and the likes, you should definitely check out this band. Their debut album is coming out real soon too!
Afterwards, winners of best-dressed and best-catwalk are announced! Mira Retrojunkies and Ketupat Kartini and their respective mothers were voted as best-dressed while Anthy and her mom were given a prize for being the best during the catwalk. For the photo contest itself, the chosen winners are disty & her mom, ella_ajah & hers and also Phier & her mom. Congratulation ladies!
It was sure fun to meet FD members and their moms. It really was a sweet thing to see mothers and daughters exchanging banters, giggling together during the catwalk and sharing the joy of receiving fabulous prizes from Clinique. That actually made us miss our mom 
We’d like to thank all of you who have participated in this contest. We’ll see you on our next event!
