Louis Vuitton Global Store; The Pictures

By now, I’m sure many of you have paid a visit to the new Louis Vuitton store at Plaza Indonesia and maybe even shop there (lucky you!!). If you haven’t been there, you should, even though maybe your budget doesn’t allow you to splurge this time, at least your eyes will be entertained by the beautiful array of bags.
This particular store is no doubt the biggest of all other LVs in Indonesia. By the way, do you know that the first LV store was located at Ratu Plaza around late 1980s? I remember I used to go to Ratu Plaza with my mom when I was in elementary school, but I didn’t know anything about LV back then so I can’t tell you anything about it. What sets this store apart from the others, architectural wise, is that the fact that it has a prominent outdoor visibility from the main street of Jakarta. Interior design wise, I like the fact that they incorporate local Indonesian elements and Indonesian-designed furniture to create a perfect balance between modernity and tradition.

In every store opening, there’s usually one special product to commemorate the event. For this particular store, it’s a monogram lurex shawl.

Hani, kalo ga salah, the first LV store itu di blok m deh…deket sama terminal bus and lapangan bola.
soalnya wkt SD gw pernah nemenin tante gw beli LV di situ. Baru abis itu pindah ke Raplaz.

emang boleh ya han, untuk dateng liat2 interiornya? hihi.. yang ada malah di geplak!
mengingatkan gue ama prada store di soho, new york city. asli keren banget tokonya & design nya.. apalagi pas baru2 buka. heboh banget. tapi ya kita sih bisa2 aja masuk, sok2 liat2.. padahal mah pengen tau aja itu toko kayak gimana keren di dalemnya.

Temenku Cindy Wowor (mantan finalis Miss Indo 2005) juga dateng pas acara grand openingnya kemarin sama-sama Mba Han, tapi aku cari2 di foto FD gak ada foto dia hehehe padahal dia udah dress up katanya heheh
