…and have chosen Scarlett Johansson as the face of the new collection. Dolce & Gabbana worked with makeup artist extraoirdinaire Pat McGrath to develop the products.

The makeup line is said to include lipsticks, lipglosses, eyeshadow palettes, blushes & bronzers, foundations, nail lacquers and mascara. One particular item that sparked my interest is a red lipstick called “Dahlia”. And according to style news at people.com, all lipsticks will be scented with rose!
The products are set to launch for spring with prices ranging from $20 for nail lacquer to $59 for powder foundation.
Here are some shots of the ad image with Scarlett Johansson, from glam.com

I personally think the whole Marilyn Monroe look is overused and outdated but still curious about the makeup line.
Any thoughts ladies?

I think she should find her own style. On the make up itself, how come the look kinda revolve around Scarlett Johansson – Marylin Monroe-ish look.

why they don’t use cher as their inspiration. . they can make a HUUUUGGGEEEEE range of make-up. . hhahahaha. . but seriously, i think cher would be a perfect icon for make-up campaign. . lots of campaign looks can be picked from her fashion files. .

Deszell,
I think D&G is trying to create an “old Hollywood glamour”, vintage-y kind of makeup line hence the Marilyn Monroe look
James,
I think D&G is trying to be “safe” with this new venture..
That’s true. Cher’s looks should provide a lot of inspirations for a makeup line. But I think the only makeup brand that can get away with that kind of thing is MAC
Upay,
Gue juga terutama lipsticknya
