It was love at first sniff. I can not think of any other fragrance that makes me feel so happy everytime I put it on. The first time I tried Annick Goutal’s Le Chevrefeuille was in B18 and at the first whiff of this bright, sunny scent, I knew I had to have it.
Le Chevrefeuille was released in 2003 as a limited-edition and was created by Annick Goutal’s daughter Camille Goutal and perfumer Isabelle Doyen. The notes are honeysuckle, green notes, narcissus, jasmine and lemon petigrain. It’s like summer in a bottle. Its citrus note is very apparent on the opening and then it settles into a delicious, green honeysuckle. It is not a complex scent but it is so cute and so cheery it makes me smile all day long. From what I read, this perfume is a truely straightforward honeysuckle scent. I can’t remember whether I’ve smelled the real smell of honeysuckle, maybe I should start go down to the flower market more often and find out…
And it also makes me think of Audrey Tautou in Amelie. I guess I sort of picture this scent on an adorable, quirky, french girl with cute 
dresses walking along on the cobbled streets of Paris..
*sigh*
Again, this fragrance was launched as a limited edition but you can still find it in several online perfume shops and also B18. I got the 50 ml bottle for a mere Rp. 250.000.
I would have paid more. Really. Just look at the pretty bottle.

I’m intrigued with this perfume after reading your post, considering I’ve always liked the smell of honeysuckle.

Beruntungnya dirimu jeung tinggal di Paris. Kalo gue di sana gue rasa gak bakalan keluar2 tuh dari butik2 parpum itu hihihi

Nah, gimana ya nek. Kembali ke selera masing2 juga sih. Masalahnya yg mamak2 buat elo belum tentu mamak2 buat gue. Tp IMO parpum2nya Annick Goutal sih buat gue gak mamak2 wanginya tp emang acquired taste sih, di gue aja ada beberapa yg kurang masuk & kurang cocok sama personality gue (cieh gaya). btw kalo parpumnya AG yg orang2 banyak suka sih yg Petite Cherie itu deb. Kalo lo suka yg manis2 manja, nah mungkin itu lebih cocok. Kalo Le Chevreufille ini lebih citrusy menurut gue..
Iya EDT dan nggak tahan lama sayangnya. Jadi emang rada boros gue makenya. Tp berhubung gak mahal2 banget (at least di B18), gue mah nyantai

Ive asked my ex’s auntie, i told her ada tukang kayu yang mau cari parfum Annick (my ex’s auntie is using de Monsieur). For woody woodpecker-ish fragrance katanya u can try de Monsieur, Mandragor, or de hadrien, but the last one actually buat cowok sih. EDT semuah.
dia beli Monsieurnya di PI. tomorrow dia mau coba menyisir harvey n.-nya GI.

Bener tuh, kalo AG yg woody itu ada Mandragore (ada EDP-nya kok) sama Songes. Kalo Eau de Hadrien kayaknya gak woody deh, rada2 citrusy & spicy gitu. Kalo Eau de Monsieur gue belum pernah nyicip, tp kalo diliat dari deskripsinya sih mestinya woody yah (the notes are sandalwood, chypre, oakmoss, amber, etc)

Btw di Glow Plaza Indonesia dan Papillion Kemang ada kok parfum2nya AG, tapi lebih lengkap lagi di B18 sih…

I’ve got this one in B18. Sebenarnya pengen nyoba yang petite cherie, tapi karena adanya yang ini ya udah. Paling gak ini paling enak dibandingkan yang tersedia di sana.
Gue bilang sih ini parfum one liner. Dari awal sampai akhir, baunya sama. Kalau suka tipe bunga yang manis, ini cocok. Sebenarnya gue gak terlalu suka karena terlalu manis, IMHO. Tapi kalau dibiarkan lama-lama, baunya enak dan blend sama bau badan. Enak banget. Apalagi kalau di luar ruangan. Bahkan dibawa di bawah matahari aja gak jadi minyak nyong-nyong kok.
Dan biarpun EDT, ini tahan lama. Dan nggak bau emak-emak. Baunya mengingatkan gue pada seorang gadis muda dengan gaun bunga-bunga berjalan di kota kecil. Heran gue, kok Koukla bisa mikir yang sama ^_^
