We’d like to thank you all of you who participated in FD Best of Beauty. Here’s the recap ;
Best Foundation Primer
No contest, Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer takes the trophy, with MAC Prep + Prime coming in second, followed by Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer with Dermaxyl and Bare Escentual Prime Time.
Best Tinted Moisturizer
Apparently not many people use Tinted Moisturizer. But the ones who do love Laura Mercier and The Body Shop Vitamin E Tinted Moisturizer
Best Concealer
First prize goes to Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer! The next ones are a tie between MAC Select Cover-Up, Makeup Forever Lift Concealer and Everyday Mineral Concealer.
Best Foundation
Predictably, MAC Studio Fix Powder + Foundation is the winner, followed by Everyday Minerals and Ciel Minerals
Best Powder
Again MAC Studio Fix! Second place goes to Clinique Blended Loose Powder followed closely by (gasp!) Marcks Venus and T.Clerc Loose Powder
Best Bronzer
The voters really love The Body Shop bronzer products. Many swear by its Shimmerwaves and the Brush-on Beads
Best Highlighter
Hands down! The winner is Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick! The most favorite shades are Rose, Gold and Bronze
Best Blush
MAC blushes are favored by many with Dollymix being the most voted one, followed with Hipness from FAFI collection and Beauty Powder Blush True Romantic. The others voted for Nars Orgasm
Best Eye Shadow Primer
Need we say more? Urban Decay Primer Potion of course! Other favorites are MAC Paint Pots and Prep + Prime Eye and La Tulipe Eyeshadow Base
Best Eyeshadow
Looks like everyone has their HG eyeshadow and mostly are from MAC! The most voted are Satin Taupe, Woodwinked and Trax
Best Eyeliner
There are slightly more votes for Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner over MAC Fluidline. The third place goes to MAC Technakohl
Best Mascara
Yup you guessed it, Maybelline mascaras are the voters’ favorites! Mostly chose Maybelline Volum Express Turbo Boost and the others are crazy about Majolica Majorca mascaras.
Best Brow Powder / Pencil
It has been a favorite for many years and apparently it still is…let’s give a big applause to Pensil Alis Viva!
Best Lipliner
MAC Cremestick Liner (frankly, I’m surprised people still wear lip liners! 
)
Best Lipstick
Again, MAC lipsticks – Viva Glam VI, Strawbaby, Russian Red – seem to be (almost) everyone’s favorites with Lancome comes quite far in second place
Best Lipgloss
Lancome Juicy Tubes holds the first spot while MAC lipglass and Chanel Glossimer comes in 2nd and 3rd place respectively
Best Nail Polish
It shouldn’t come as a big surprise…Yup! The winner is OPI Black Onyx and Moon Over Mumbai
Best Perfume
Still a favorite, Clinique Happy wins first place over Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and D&G Light Blue.
Aaaaand the winner of FD Best of Beauty who gets Donna Karan Gold EDT is (drumroll please)..
