L’Occitane Feu d’Orange Intense was released a few months ago as a follow up to last year’s Ruban d’Orange. As the name suggested, it’s supposed to be a more intense version of Ruban d’Orange using predominantly blood orange notes and a hint of woods.
My husband gave Feu d’Orange EDT to me as a birthday gift and I have been wearing it non stop now. It smells delicious – fresh, juicy, not overly sweet and the woody notes keep it from smelling like another Bath & Body Works-type of fragrances. The lasting power isn’t great, as most L’Occitane fragrances are, but I really don’t mind freshening up with it again in the middle of the day when I need the most ‘pick me up’. You can also try layering it with the Soft Skin Body Oil, which I also got as a present. That way, the gorgeousness of this citrusy fragrance is doubled and you’ll get the scent to last a little bit longer.
L’Occitane Feu d’Orange Intense is limited edition and available in 50 ml bottle which is great because I can never go through an entire 100 ml bottle of perfume before getting bored with it!
