Have you voted on the new poll in the front page? This time, I threw a question regarding wearing designer logos. Some people like logoed stuff, some people totally loathe it. Different strokes for different folks, they say. As for myself, there are logoed stuff that I like and dying to have, but there are also some stuff that I think are hideous. Most of the time though, it depends on how you wear it and how you mix and match it with the other elements in your outfit.

But I always follow this rule when it comes to logo: no more than one visible logo in one outfit!! It’s been a pretty easy rule for me to follow since I don’t have many logoed stuff to begin with..:D, but even if I have a rack full of logoed stuff, I would never wear them together. I don’t want to look like a walking billboard, thank you very much!

The pictures of Hillary duff up there can be shown as example. In the first picture, she is carrying her LV speedy azur bag and wearing flats emblazoned with Chanel logo. In the second picture, she is toting her LV speedy monogram bag with a Burberry cap. Two logos in one outfit! I think the logos are wearing her instead of her wearing her clothes, not to mention that there are too many prints in the second outfit. The bags, the shoes and the cap are beautiful on their own, but when worn together, they are just too much and instead of showing her personality through her clothes, she’s showing how much she has spent for her outfit.

And how about Missy Elliots sporting her Dior trench coat, Dior cap, and is that a Dior shirt underneath? Or is that a Dior vest with a Dior Belt? All from the rasta line. Whatever it is, her whole look is just tacky.

Of course, you can find more examples in real life, like at the mall. I’m sure you’ve seen a girl toting  an LV monogram bag, with her Gucci monogram mules, with an Hermes belt wrapping her little waist (the one with the big H), and probably with Chanel sunglasses placed sitting pretty on her head, you know the one with the interlocking CC on each side that you can tell it’s Chanel from a mile away. Hideous, isn’t it? To me, she screams fashion victim. Designers stuff from head to toe is fine if that’s your lifestyle, just not the one swamped with logos.

    same with you, not more than 1 logo. kalo bisa malah ga usah yang pake logo sama sekali. that’s why i don’t really care where and what brand my clothes are from, as long as they’re comfortable and nice to wear.

    unfortunately, it’s different with bags. :) though of course, i try to limit it as little logo as possible when i choose one.

    max 1 logo atau ngga usah ada logo sama sekali.
    IMHO klo ada logo dgn ukuran gede kok malah terkesan spt barang palsu ya ?

    waktu itu pernah liat titi dj pake t-shirt tulisannya “j’adore dior” gede2, eeuuwwww klo gw sih ngga akan mau…..

    Hmm… I’m comfortable enough with the logo stay hidden along the neckline…
    Let’s say even if I do have to wear one… I’ll look for the smallest one… no bling2, blinding kind of logo…

    kalo gw sih selama ini tanpa gw sadari gw emang ternyata gw ga demen barang2 designer yg ada logonya, apalagi yg gede2 dan multiple prints all over, contohnya… LV monogram, duh no no banget buat gw, ga pernah demen dr dulu.. (no offense yah buat yg suka line ini :)

    personally, gw sih ampe skrg ga pernah ampe nentuin mesti brp logo di outfit2 gw, ga pernah terlalu merhatiin juga, most probably because kebanyakan barang2 gw jg emang ga keliatan sih logo nya..jadi rata2 kayanya di outfit gw yg keliatan logo cuma 1 doank, soalnya gw suka banget pake tas Chanel flapbag gw yg jelas2 ada logo interlocking CC nya kan, tapi the rest of my outfit sih no logo…

    tapiii gw mayan sering juga pake Alannah Hill head to toe, kaya misalnya mulai headband, top, skirt, earrings semuanya brand Alannah Hill, cuma kayanya kalo di indo sini ga ada yg tau deh itu AH lagian emang di barang2nya dia ga pernah ada ada logo AH-nya juga…

    gue emang gak suka barang2 yang logonya sejembreng kayak pattern di bag LV. glamor fashion magazine di fashion (do and don’t)s acara E!, bilang head to toe designer is not good. kayak walking advertisement, bedanya yang bayar yang make (bukan yang dipromosiin). hehehehehe. sama kayak orang yang pake lebih dari 1 logo. kesannya: yeah, she got money but hell no taste.

    gue juga bukan a brand-oriented girl. at least keliatan 1 logo deh (kayak slesta), misalnya uda ada di tas..ya ga perlu di baju dan shoes juga dipertunjukkan. rasanya kalo lebih dari 1 logo dibadan, gue jadi berasa kayak boutique store jalan :P

    mskellybag.. sama ama elo.. i dont mind .. it depends on the designs :) esp for handbags and shoes ;) kalo baju siy males.. LV classic monogram is fine tho’ for me, timeless gt apalg kalo yg vintage dan kulit nya uda jd honey ;) monogram gucci jg gpp, kalo dicampur ama their signature stripes spt yg di tas2 mereka.malah jd sporty.. =)

    buat gua sih, satu udah cukup. yg penting authentic! haha.. daripada banyak2 gak taunya logo2 itu bole dibeli di itc?? hehe.. dan logo2 itu hanya di TAS aja yahh, agak malas melihat baju, sepatu, topi, belt, dan mungkin pakaian dalam dengan rentetan logo2 yg melambangkan designer tertentu. :)

    ternyata kebanyakan juga nggak suka yah mixing logos gitu. kalo monogram gue juga sukanya di tas aja sih sama di small accessories kaya dompet. sunglasses with logo are okay, asal jangan yang gede gede banget. clothes with monograms are a big no no, kalo logo ya paling kaya polo shirt gitu udah pasti ada logo nya sih, tapi kalo yang udah ada tulisan bebe, guess, calvin klein, dior dll sih thanks but no thanks…:D

    kalo sepatu masih ok lah, tp itu juga g gak suka yg monogram logo gitu, paling mentok kayak flatsnya chanel yg cuma ada CC logo di bagian depan
