Marc Jacobs S/S 2008 Shoes

What do you think about these shoes? Sure they are pretty to look at, but they look painful and dangerous to wear. It doesn’t look like they have enough weight distribution and there is lack of support in the heels area. I would probably break my ankle. Oh well, maybe they are built to support model-like body and for red carpet appearance only ..:D
A lot of people praised Marc Jacobs for this innovation, but Junko Shimada, a Japanese designer based in Paris did these shoes first for her A/W 07 collection, a very pretty one I might add.
So, would you wear these?

walaupun sepatu2 ini lucu, tapi kalo disuruh pake enggak deh.. takut ngejongklak
yang didesign Junko Shimada kayanya lebih stabil deh. tapi tinggi buangget yakk..
kalo ada, gue pengen liat video modelnya jalan pake sepatu ini. apakah terlihat normal? atau agak aneh? *penasaran*
whooooaa…they look so weird! meskipun keliatannya riskan ngejeblak ke belakang kalo pake sepatu ini, tentunya mereka udah mikirin semua aspek keselamatannya ya
. sama kayak loucee, penasaran liat modelnya jalan meragain sepatu ini. idenya itu lho, muncul darimana ya????
gw nemu di youtube nih, pas fashion week. gak jelas2 amat sih. tapi keliatan beberapa modelnya pake sepatuna. coba deh liat:

modelnya sih lucu2, tp aneh ga sih kl dipake, berasa tumitnya melayang gitu, kl gue sih takut jatuh pakenya
modelnya sih bagus yak..tapi kok kliatannya agak ngeri buat dipake ya?kayak lagi kejumplang jatoh gitu…hahahaha
gak berani deh gue makenya juga..tapi lucu sekali hi3, mungkin klo yang gak terlalu tinggi masih bisa pake..

aneh ah bentuknya. trus yg buat nahan di tengahnya kayak heel terbalik gitu hiahiahia…
ibaratnya kalo hewan gitu, kayak mutant gitu hihihi….
gue pake heels aja udah painful enuff, kalo suruh pake model gini kayaknya never deh. kayaknya kok gak sturdy gitu. apalagi model gue kalo jalan gak bisa diem, bisa ngejeblak kali gue…hehehe…
Well, let’s say the shoes pose similar risks as a 9 inch stiletto, I think it’s strange that the heels still look like heels when it could’ve been more integrated w/ the shoe body, like Junko’s, a prettier version definitely…

I think they’re absolutly gorgeous and i would wear them definatly. The patent look adds a class to them but obviously ill have to try them to love them. Im sure Marc Jacobs wouldn’t design them if they were not pratical.
Creativity keeps one’s life, certainly the fashion too.
But to wear it? Although I praise the fashion, I still value my feet lives more.

I’ve tried on the Marc Jacobs shoes. They are surprisingly very comfortable. I would totally buy those if I had the budget.
They are a nice COPY of the original shoe makers of the floating heel United Nude.

I heart the shoes designs …buatku..kalaupun beli, akan kupajang saja di dressing table / vanity…It’s a work of art ..nyerah deh..yang ini ngga kepakai !
Marc Jacobs is truly a fashion architect.. ^_^ Love the creativity.. tapi ngga kelihatan sophisticated ya..
