Another week, another celebrity building a fashion line. This time it’s Lauren Conrad’s turn, star of The Hills. Her capsule collection will be launched in September 15 and will be sold via www.shoplaurenconrad.com.
Knowing her style (from watching The Hills religiously..:P), I don’t think we can expect something new but I know we can expect something simple, feminine in the most wearable form and of course, pretty, just like her everyday style. I know she is not really a fashion icon and her style is probably considered too safe for a lot of people, but I like her taste. Plus, she’s getting better these days and not as conservative as she used to when it comes to dressing. She used to wear a lot of of jersey dresses, cardigans, all in subtle or dark colors in the past, but now she incorporates more colors and shapes into her wardrobes. I’m looking forward to seeing her clothing line.
I love Lauren! Meskipun rada2 malu, I’m kinda addicted to the so-much-drama-The-Hills-show. I got hooked up just because I loved watching their clothes – and now – *phew* – I’m religiously tune in to MTV on Monday nights and feverishly discuss what happens with my co-workers~

. Gue pernah baca di New York Times, desainer2, termasuk yg sekelas Vera Wang, ngeluh karena lahan mereka jadi makin sempit aja. Yang lebih tertekan lagi adalah desainer2 muda dan baru lulus.
