DIY: Canvas Wall Art

Okay, I’m really new at this Do It Your own thing, so I’m sorry if what you’re going to see here is far from ground breaking..:D. I’m not creative at all when it comes to handcrafting a.k.a prakarya kalo jaman SD dulu…:). Anyway, I made a canvas decoration a few days ago. These kinds of decoration is everywhere, some of them are painted, and some are just covered with interesting fabrics. But since I’m really bad at drawing, I opted for fabrics. I was looking for fabrics with big prints (like big flower in bold color) but I couldn’t find one, so I settled for these twos.
Canvas, fabric and pin is really what we need. We just need to cover the canvas with the fabric and fasten it with the pin. It’s really is as easy as 1,2,3…the whole thing took me about 2 minutes…and cost me around $3..as opposed to $10 if I bought the finish product in store. You can hang them on the wall or just place them on the table, leaning against the wall..:)

Wah keren juga ya hasilnya dipajang gitu, bisa jadi aksen, biar ruangannya gak terlalu bosenin. Gue pernah liat di acara Area - Style Network, ada yang bikin gede banget, jadi buat background kamar gitu, di belakang ranjang/kepala.. keren juga… murah pula ya!

selain buat dekorasi, bisa dipake juga buat pintu lemari atau bed head gitu
namanya fabric panel.
yg punya lo fabricnya lucu banget.

waah *surprise* ada yang suka..heheh, padahal simple banget kan yah..gue ragu ragu mau posting ini..:D. Memang tergantung fabric nya sih, gue pake bahan biasa, kalo bisa beli decorative fabric gitu, print nya jauh lebih menarik.
kalo untuk bedhead harus yang gede banget yahh, bisa juga sih pake lapisan kayu gitu tapi trus di lapis busa tipis trus di bungkus bahannya deh.

to koukla: kalo buat pintu lemari ya harus segede pintu lemari gitu. maksudnya idenya sama, dibungkus fabric juga ;)tapi biasanya kalo buat pintu lemari pake frame.
