It was launched last Friday, June 29th at 6 PM. Did you get yours yet??…
A lot of people camped outside of the Apple store 3.5 days in advance just to get their hands on this gadget. Little did they know that they could actually just walk in and out the store in 3 minutes for that. Only Steve Jobs can make people wait in line for something that they didn’t need to wait in line for…:D
Yupe, turned out The iPhone is not a sell-out, they still have plenty in stocks as I type this. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. Apple enthusiast probably say that Steve Jobs did a good job of making sure there’s enough supply to meet demands. The anti-Apple crowd probably think the demand is not there to begin with. Many of those who stood in line were eBayers who hoped to make a quick buck. I bet they were (and so was I) disappointed when they found out that there were 9500 listings for iPhone alone on eBay..:D. But at least I didn’t have to wait in line….
I managed to buy 5 at the Apple store in Woodfield Mall, Chicago, hoping I could resell them…but then return them the next morning because why would anyone buy them on eBay when there’s plenty of stocks at the store?!.. Hiks..There goes my extra shopping allowance…=(
But hey, at least I contributed in bloating the iPhone sales hoping that AT&T stock that has been in hold mode for the past few weeks waiting for the iPhone release, will go up. Reports says over 500.000 iPhones were sold in the past 3 days, but I truly believe that at least 50.000 of them are bought by people speculating to sell on eBay. With “phantom” record sales reported this morning and a strong start in Wall Street, I *still* manage to sell all my AT&T stocks to gain some quick extra cash before it dives back …. 
Anyway, according to its website, iPhone combines three amazing products—a mobile phone, a widescreen iPod and a breakthrough Internet device—into one small, lightweight, hand-held device with the best email ever on a mobile phone, full-screen web browsing, multi-touch screen, and applications such as Google Maps.
Steve Jobs said that this is one of the most important products Apple has ever launched, technology-wise. It took 5 years to develop the phone, and it sure will set the standard and revolutionize the cell phone industry.
Th 8 GB cost $599, set to launch end of this year in Europe and early 2008 in Asia.

hehehe…gue juga lagi penasaran pengen liat iphone ini. di jkt udah keluar belum yaks? belon sempet mampir ke apple store sih to check it out. but i followed up this item since it’s launching couple days ago. gila2 an yah org yg ngantri? hehehe…sadis deh steve job emang. this is long awaited for product. disana $599 yah han? hmm wonder kalo di jkt berapaan. do you think the price will go lower soon? kekeke…itu sekitar 5.4 jt an yaks.
uh…my E65 is around 4.4 jt. 1 jt lagi bisa dapet iphone tuh yaks….*evil grin* kekekeke….

hmm…udah pengen dari taun lalu, tapi belom keluar. dan di asia baru keluar taun 2008. lama yee?? heheh.. but as an apple fan, i know enough they always make new changes and new versions.. so i’d rather wait and get the newer version with the updated and corrected glitch on the 1st generation… so, we’ll see!!
han, daripada dibalikin iPhone nya, kirim ke spore aja!! heheh…

Yup. Agree with Slesta. I’m going to wait for it’s 3rd generation before getting it, so Apple can fix all of the glitches and by the time hopefully the price would’ve gone down.

hmmmm,,,,enaknya iphone itu dalemmnya lengkap, and kayanya modis bgt yah!
ga enak nya juga ada.
pertama, dia ga ada memory card nya, jadi semua kesimpen di dalem hp. kedua….dia bukan pake sistem wi-fi (ga kaya dopod atau O2, kalo mreka ini wi-fi jd kalo ada internet di sturbucks ato cafe2 bisa pake gratis) kalo i-phone harus bayar service internet sendiri). harga di us emang lebih murah,,,4gb $499, 8Gb$599 kalo ga salah cek aja di cingular/at&t itu harga diatas termasuk plan 2 taun with cingular loch,,,,kalo ga harganya 800-900 an

gw udah nunggu ni produk dr taon lalu… tiap lewat toko apple nyempet2in nanya spgnya kapan keluar di indo. 2008 masih lama hiks hikss…

hihi..iya yah gue gak notice han elo bilang 2008. eh tapi gue setuju kata shinta, gue nunggu 2nd or 3rd gen nya aja. biasanya kan suka byk flawnya tuh kalo 1st gen nya baru keluar. dan biasanya kalo udah ke 3rd gen gitu, bukannya harga disesuaikan makin murah? hahaha…
btw, eh iya tuh E90 keren banget yaks? huuuu….tapi gilaaa yaaa 8-9 jt an kan tuh? sadis. gue cuma bisa kebeli E65 aja hihihihi.

I got my iPhone, I got my iPhone. Yup.. G ngantri 3 jam di depan AT&T. Utk apple user spt g, features yg ada di iphone sama spt yg di apple laptop n pc. The main thing that made me so hype bout it is how cool it is to have a cell phone made by apple. I’m going 2 put insurance on my iPhone fosho

nanya dong, sebagai org yg addicted to txt messaging, iphone itu pake yg model keyboard gitu bukan? trus ditouch pake pen, kayak PDA gituw? itu malah jadi sering banyak salahnya/meleng gituw ga sih? cos klo gw jd ga bisa sms secepat dulu dengan keypad+2 jempol yg udah trained really well! males deh… beli iphone…

Ayu: kayanya yang di sini nggak bisa di pake di sana deh, ini ekslusif deal sama AT&T. Di sini juga nggak bisa pake carrier lain. Kalo di Europe katanya sih deal nya sama T-Mobile
Angie: Untuk internetnya ada tambahan $20 per bulan. Tapi lumayan banget sih jadi bisa di mana aja. kalo di jalan lagi nyasar juga tinggal buka google map aja. Kalo di tempat yang ada wifi nya internetannya bisa lebih cepet. Oh iya ada activation fee AT&T $36
W: Activate nya sih lewat itunes, tapi emang customer servicenya AT&T suka dodol
Lavanyalea: iPhone pake touchscreen say, jadi nggak pake pen2 an..gampang kok sms nya malah bisa
lebih cepet dan nggak pegel jarinya..:D..Susunan alphabetnya persis kaya keyboard computer.
