Indonesian Fashion Spot!

- Devon Aoki is working on a collection for Levi’s that would be released in Asia this fall. The line is going to be vintage inspired. I have never bought a pair of Levi’s jeans since I graduated from high school..so I’m not really in tune with their collection. All I know is they are not the jeans to buy anymore in here. All of their jeans at the department stores are pretty dull, although the ones at their own boutiques are not that bad.

- Sienna and her sister Savannah Miller are going to launch their clothing line, Twenty8Twelve (Sienna’s bday) by s. miller. The line will be sold at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Harvey Nichols, as well as in its own store in Notting Hill. Her sister is actually a designer and graduated from Central St. Martin.

- Narciso Rodriquez is launching For Him perfume..if you like the For Her version, now you can get the matching one for your dear hubby or dear boyfriend..:D

- GAP will launch a new set of of body products this August, ranging from body mists, hand cream, eaux de toilette, body scrub, bath salts, body lotion, body cream to bath oil. I’ll be trying these for sure as I love the old line too (Dream, So Pink, Heaven).

- YSL, with designer Stefano Pilati is set to launch a YSL second line named Edition 24. He actually hesitant to refer the line as second line, but he said the collection would be accessible to broader and younger clientèle and rightly priced. Sounds like a second line to me!. The collection is season-less, so there would be lots of classic items because the philosophy behind the line is about building a wardrobe.

- For the first time in 5 years, sales of women’s jeans is down. Thanks to legging/tights, dresses, wide leg pants and cropped pants..:D. It’s time to buy some jeans now as they would be forced to mark the price down..:D
