Beautiful Treats

In conjunction with *somebody*’s recent birthday (ahem..), I thought I’d share with you guys some of the prettiest eyeshadow palettes that I found on sephora. These beautiful products will make a great birthday present for your sister, mom, best friend or even as a little treat for yourself!
(Hanz, I would loooove to get you one of these, however they don’t take orders from our lovely country – so how about I give you something else when you’re here…atau mau di FedEx? Hehehe)
It comes in 3 different colors but the one shown here (Acapulco) is the best in my opinion. The olive shade looks lovely and the deep bronze one seems to be perfect for smokey eyes. And don’t you just love the latin-inspired design? (Damn, now I really really want it for myself)
I’ve heard so much about this brand, yet I haven’t had the chance to try any of its products. This palette offers every shade you need for an amber, everyday eye makeup that’s easy to create. The kit contains the following shades : amber satin, champagne, mocha, and gold shadows plus a deep chocolate cream liner. And it also comes with a double-ended brush.
This particular series from Smashbox is to die for. Tokidoki is a creation of a renowned illustrative artist Simone Legno, who designed the packaging for this quirky, cute collection. There are 2 kinds of eyeshadow quads : Celebrita (baby pink shimmer, vibrant purple sheen, pearl sheen, pewter shimmer) and Modella (yellow with blue iridescent shimmer, baby blue shimmer, peach sheen, matte chocolate). Which one do you think is the best? Errrr…how about both? I WANT both!

wahh thank you lho di cariin beneran eyeshadow palette nya..=). yang Stila itu tadi pas gue liat sekilas kirain kornea mata..hehe, iya designnya bagus banget, sayang kebanyakan putihnya siih. kalo tokidoki mauu yang celebrita, ..selain brush set nya, jangan lupa juga beli tokidoki make up bag, heheh..biar sekalian lengkap kan..:D
ngomong2 kla, pernah pake cream eye liner palette nya smashbox nggak? bisa di pake untuk eyeshadow nggak yah?
You should’ve seen my reaction when I saw those tokidoki packagin….aaAAaaAaa….*histeris*…I Heart Tokidoki.I’m crazy about the LeSportsac collection. I think I’m going to buy the eyeshadow even though I already have similar colors, just for the sake of collecting Tokidoki stuff. Thx for the info Koukla.

Buat Koukla, mo nanya donk,apa sih yang membuat kulit muka menjadi super licin setelah pake foundation? kulit gw sih ga ada masalah, gw pake liquid foundation nya shu uemura (matte, tp ga kaku kayak punya nya bobby brown), terus gw pake loose powdernya SKII, nah keliatannya emang jadi mulus, but seems like i didn’t wear any powder..apa karena warnanya ya? gw suka liat org mukanya licin en keliatan bedakan, tp ga tebel. itu pake apa sih Koukla? thanks lot for ur advice yah..

You’re welcome! Btw, sayangnya gue blm pernah nyobain produknya smashbox tuh, say. Tapi setau gue sih biasanya untuk eyeliner berbentuk cream atau gel, bisa2 aja dipake buat eyeshadow. Pencil liner yg lembut (kayak kohl gitu) kadang2 suka gue pake jadi eyeshadow kok. Asal teksturnya nggak kering dan gampang di-blend aja hanz.

How I envy you! Gue kayaknya mesti nitip temen gue yg mau ke US nih untuk beli tokidoki ini, tapi list titipan gue sebenernya udah panjang bgt, huhuhuhu…

Gue agak2 bingung nih ngebayangin orang yg mukanya licin, keliatan pake bedak tapi gak tebel, itu kayak gimana? hehehe. Apa maksudnya glowing gitu ya? Sebenernya dari jenis foundationnya juga sih ya, kalo emang pengen yg glowing gitu mendingan jgn pake yg teksturnya matte, cari yg lebih ringan dan ada pearl particle-nya. Untuk bedaknya pake powder biasa aja, jgn yg ada kandungan foundationnya supaya (again) nggak terlihat terlalu matte. I hope that’s what you mean and I gave you the right advice
Koukla, I love LOVE your post! Keep em comin! BTW if you’re interested w/ Tokidoki releases u can get them through e-bay. Several seller are sending them to Indonesia. And the price is not too bad as well. But a friend of mine told me that this eyeshadow is not too pigmented so I’m quite hesistant to buy them.
hanzky, give a review dong dan tips and trick how to use your mineral foundation. I havent quite mastered the mineral foundation yet. Kadang bisa bagus kadang bisa kayak nenek sihir.

Thank you Deszell, I’m glad you enjoy my posts! Well well…I seem to have found a kindred spirit in you – you are also a makeup junkie huh? Heheheh. I’ve heard a lot about people bidding on some of the most sought-after beauty products on eBay but I myself have never tried it. Maybe I will one of these days although I actually still prefer the ‘conventional’ way of buying products in the stores/counters where I can actually try and test them first. But thanks for the info!
