The speedy is one of the first bags (or was it the first bag?) that Louis Vuitton made. Before that, LV main core was in luggages and trunks only. The monogram canvas speedy was made in 1930 and a new size was created in 1960 for Audrey Hepburn, which she loved dearly. Many people are probably sick of monogram and think it’s ugly. Well, that’s understandable since we see them everyday, but probably out of 10 monogram that we see, only 2 or 3 of them are the real thing. So no wonder most of them look ugly..:D. I didn’t like them too at first, but I’ve grown to love them and appreciate the history and the workmanship behind the finished products.
Here’s the speedy in all kinds of style. Which one is your favorite? and which one is your least favorite? I think the miroir and the dentelle is hideous. I’m not feeling the neo denim either.
