That Extra Half an Inch

Sorry, I just had to use Victoria Beckham’s book title for this post..:p. Weekend lalu saya baru nemu sepatu Michael by Michael Kors yang ada di gambar sebelah kiri ini. Model nya sih saya suka banget, but I wasn’t sure about the metallic copper color. I’ve only owned one metallic item so far, and that is a pair of silver sandals. But then I realized that I’ve actually been giving my silver sandals lots of mileage lately. The color is surprisingly easy to wear and goes with a lot of my outfits. Jadi ya udaah..langsung aja minta di bungkus..:D..it was on sale too..so that made it easier to decide.

I’ve been loving wedged-soles shoes since 10 years ago. Padahal, lumayan susah juga cari sepatu model ini kalo lagi nggak musim. Jadi yang udah ada bener bener di sayang sayang walaupun tetep di pake setiap hari. Sampai sampai sahabat saya pernah nanya “Han, sampe kapan sih lo mau pake sepatu model ulekan begini?”..heheheh. Mungkin dia nggak mau kalah karena saya jadi sama tinggi nya sama dia..:D. Dulu sih bisa di bilang setiap hari saya pakai sepatu ber sol tebal dengan model terbuka ini. Iya bener bener setiap hari, snow and all. Kalo sekarang sih jam terbangnya sudah menurun drastis..:D.

Sepatu model wedges ini juga ada beberapa bentuk sol nya. Ada yang depannya datar seperti sepatu yang putih di atas. Ada yang dari depan udah ada sol nya sedikit 2 senti, chunky but still ladylike. They’ll look perfect with feminine clothing.

Untuk musim panas sekarang, sepatu wedges model bakiak (in a much cuter version) seperti tiga di atas ini lah yang lagi trend. Bedanya juga ada di sol nya, jadi bagian depan dan belakangnya nggak begitu jauh beda ketebalannya, hampir keliatan datar. Cocok untuk di pake ke acara santai.

Memang kalo di liat sepintas kaya nya bikin pegel pegel banget ya sepatu ini. Tapi percaya deh, wedges itu jauh lebih nyaman dari stilettos atau platform karena area penopang badan kita lebih luas dan nggak tertumpu di satu titik saja, jadi kita berdiri nya juga lebih stabil. This way, we get everything; the style, the comfort and that extra half an Inch..=)

Like you, the type of shoes that I’m always on the hunt for are wedged-sole shoes. I loooove them. They’re stylish and comfortable and come in so many different cute styles.

My favorite pair warnanya mirip sama Michael Kors yg elo beli ini Hanz, I got it from Next and it’s got glittery heels!! It’s so cute but I just can’t bring myself to wear it on daytime (too disco), but I always receive compliments whenever I wear them to a party.

Gw slalu suka Wedges..much more comfy than stilettos..

i had the bakiak one, dan itu sangat cocok untuk menghadang genangan air klo hujan heheh..

I’ve got two wedges actually. Black sandals from Nine West ama sepatu sendal Edward Forrer modelnya cute sih, cuma ya gtu deh ada zipper di belakang..and dunno why bikin kaki gw lecettt hiks. Yup, model2 kayak gtu middle-heel wedges jg keluar di banana republic. Mupeng jg hihihi :p

gue suka wedges dari jaman jebot juga tuh. dulu sih modelnya itu2 aja yah, but now is even cuter and cuter. lucu2 pula warna2 dan bahanya skrg. me love even more. in fact gue barusan beli satu, warna kuning gila gak sih bo! hiahiahia….sole wedge nya sih tapi dari bahan apa yah bilangnya kayak jerami gt. eh jerami bukan ya? yah kayak iket2 gt deh gue gak tau sebutnya apa. gue beli di zara kekeke… i just need cute shoe to go with my yellow top and celana khaki gue selutut. so summery!

niweys, gue lagi looking for shoe and sandals. 2 minggu yg lalu gue jg baru beli 2 flat sandals, flipflops one tapi yg ada pentolan2 gitu deh. satu warna coklat, satu lagi warna golden mettalic gitu.

gue lagi mo beli wedges sandal yg agak2 mirip ama sandal wedges pics di atas (black n white gitu) from nine west sih, tapi bahan atasnya patent shiny black gitu. so cute. tapi keabisan size mulu. ama apalah some kitten heel sandal buat gue sehari2 ngantor. black one. tapi gue dah keliling2 mall to mall belon dapet2 nih yg okeh. huh…heheheh

ya sut deh bu. begitulah laporan shopping dari saya…apa seeehh!!! hehe…

Btw, gue juga suka puffy sleeves, shoulder gue kan narrow gitu (with big arms)..jadi nya lebih balance keliatannya

bener bgt tuh orang-orang suka ngatain gw kalo pake sepatu ginian..katanya ulekan lah..gak manis lah..etc..

susahhh bgt beli sepatu..my shoe size is 35..
yg sering ada ukuran cuman ninewest ato charles n keith..
any suggestion girls??
am thinkin of making my own..but dunno where to go..
