   sejujurnya gue nggak pernah megang/nyentuh tas birkin..penasaran deh, pengin tau rasanya nenteng tas 7000 dollar…lebih mahal dari mobil gue dong…huahaha…warnanya bagus, striking.

   for the lady who owns the bag, i think the bag is to die for but the scarf needs to go!! i have never liked how they put scarf on the handbag, it ruins the bag, the bag is prettier on its own *i’m drooling here*

   hmm the scarf? it’s a question of taste.. it’s a nice touch tho’ at least she’s putting the hermes scarf with the hermes bag..
   i saw ppl putting the hermes scarf on other bags which aren’t hermes.. and i found it too distracting cuz our 1st focus point would be on the scarf which scream HERMES..
   im not against scarf on bags, i like the scarf on those gucci totes, they look so ‘nautical’.. again, it’s a personal taste..

   altho having already seen it n carry it for a while *’on-the-job’& not my very own personal item*, as much as i love to have one of those birkins, im NOT that obsessed anymore with them.. belum saatnya utk gw to carry that bag.. ppl would stare and think, how the hell she could afford that? malah ntar dikira fake pula..
   well it’s none of their biz right? mau dikasi kek ato dibeliin ortu or emang beli sendiri after yrs of saving..it’s not my biz or anyone’s else.. but personally, i still think there would be the perfect timing one day where i have achieved hopefully a certain point in my career to deserve that bag.. even in the fashion industry here, only the accomplished senior editors would carry them (or those filthy rich young socialites)..

   tourterelle: hey that’s a pretty nickname..and thanks for the info. now that i think about it…the tax for the $7700 is around $654..that alone is enough for some other high end leather bag at a discount (marc jacobs, etc)..heheh..

   mm: yes agree with si asisten below, it’s a matter of taste. and agree with you, the bag makes me drool too..=)

   siasisten: can’t agree more with you, i know i want to eventually own a birkin, but it’s not now (bukan karena nggak mau sekarang tapi lebih karena nggak mampu..huehehe)..maybe in a few years or so when i already have a nice house back home, nice cars (notice it’s plural..hehe), live comfortably, free of debts and enough deposit for kids education. there are still too many bags that i’m obsessing right now.

   di jakarta juga sih kayanya di fashion industrynya nggak banyak yang pake birkin(kecuali owner of boutique so and so), mostly are socialite/heiress..seleb aja baru dian sastro yang gue pernah liat.

   kalo di sini kayanya kebanyakan editors or those in the fashion industry are spotted carrying chloe edith, chanel coco cabas and goyard?..don’t you think?
