These ankle boots/booties? I got these Jeffrey Campbell Velux boots at the mall last weekend, they were on sale so I couldn’t help it..:D. I know winter is probably almost over, that’s why I opted for an ankle-length boots instead of knee length soI can still wear them in the spring (maybe with a skirt/dress or something), plus the color is gray so it doesn’t scream winter as much as the black. The heel is right too as I don’t want flat boots that’ll make my legs even chunkier or stilleto boots that’s just make me cringe whenever I look at the heels. This one is perfect.
But the thing is…ankle boots aren’t exactly the most forgiving look..so I’m trying to be careful with what i wear, who would want to look like a fashion victim, anyway?. The safest way for me is to wear with straight leg/boot cut jeans or trousers, but then they will cover the most part of the boots, leaving the pleated and the belt detail unseen. I’ve tried to tuck in my skinny jeans but I don’t think it looks good, or maybe I’m just not used to it yet. I’m thinking of wearing black tights, but still confuse on if it would be better to wear the long or the knee length one? Is it better to show a little bit of skin or not at all?. These boots are actually pretty versatile but not many people can pull the look. So if you have any idea..please do share it with me..=)

i’d wear them with skinny pants in black (like gap’s) and a great over-the-hip length tunic in soft white/gray color with second-skin- fit sleeves, and a wide red belt that falls loosely just below the waist. hope that helps

i think my skinny jeans are not skinny enough to be tucked in nicely into the boots, so i’m thinking of wearing tights/leggings, and yes i’ll definetely try the tunic, just haven’t found the one that fits perfectly..ada kebanyakan sih babydoll gitu but they make look bloated and pregnant..heheh..that’s not good. wide belt sounds like a good idea too but maybe not red..hehe, i can do a red skinny belt but not the wide one..saya kan pemalu lho..heheh. thanks for the idea ya rish..=)

i’d rather wear it with black tights and oversize loose t-shirt or oversize knit gitu deh mbak hanzky..maybe u could add shawl..:D

i will wear them with super-black legging, White loose tees, washed denim jacket, leopard shawl, and big tote bag…
And i’ll let my hair get a lil messy. Hahahaa… Uber Cool ^_^
