The houndstooth is no doubt a classic, I’ve always liked it although I don’t currently own one. I was so close to buy a houndstooth pattern top last week but then I cringed when I thought about bumping into the many people who would be wearing the same stuff. I mean it’s everywhere..really, from walmart to target to H&M, forever 21, bebe..and a lot more in department store from macy’s to nordstrom to neiman marcus. It still pretty nevertheless and it will forever be in style. Tt now comes in variety of colors too, not just black and white but also yellow, purple, red and oranges..I’m sure there are a lot of other colors that I have never seen. Hmm I wonder if anything houndstooth is in your fall shopping list?

i bought my houndstooth coat 2 yrs ago from rampage.. n now i feel like a fool wearing it
this also goes with my capelet bomber jacket, bought it on sale in europe cuz it looks so different now it’s everywhere in the states esp at zara. i hate mass products
hi anonymous..yea if i have a choice i wouldn’t shop mass products too but there’s no other option for me cause the local boutiques here jack up the price so much, so for budget friendly stuff, i have to head up to H&M or Forever 21 or even target…:-)
ohh that’s too bad about your houndstooth coat..i’m sure by next year the trend will die down and you can wear it again (of course some people will think that it’s soo last year when it’s actually a classic..hehe).
i don’t think i’ve ever seen a capelet bomber jacket though, how does it look like? i’ve always want to have a capelet, it would be elegant to wear it with a shoulder baring dress/top..or even long sleeves if the capelet is short. sadly, they make me look shapeless..:(
